Worth it, just buy it
If you’re on the fence JUST DO IT. Sure it’s a premium price but you get what you paid for. I have a dozen cables and lightning accessories/adapters and this got the job done. Not only did the headache of inconsistent charging go away but my HDMI adapter now works flawlessly (I still have the habit of being super careful with it and I have to remind myself that it works perfectly and I don’t need to keep handling it like it’s a live bomb!)Also the brush worked surprisingly well at cleaning the speaker ports. Don’t worry if when you first use the tools on your phone that you don’t get tons of lint. On the second and third use the lint and dust is loose and starts to pour out.The only flaw is the liquid bottle does leak when left on its side but there’s a note inside the box addressing the issue and recommending you store the box on its side to prevent it. Hopefully they address this in a later version but it’s not a deal breaker unless you need to store it flat.I would like to see a headphone port tool but since most iPhones don’t have it anymore I understand why.Really nice product and I’ve already been helping out friends and family fix their ports/adapters so the value is definitely here if you’re worried about the price.

Good port cleaner for iPhone! I recommend!!
I recently purchased the Pureport to clean the lighting port on my iPhone. It seems to work pretty well as prior to cleaning the lighting cable wouldn’t sit squarely in my port due to lint and debris buildup from being in my pocket all day. Tool 1, the port pick is amazing and fits perfectly into the port and retainer spring cavity. I found a large piece of lint stuck in each side and the pick helped remove them with ease. As long as you’re careful you shouldn’t have any issues cleaning your port without damaging the connector pins. Tool 2 was the small port brush and I used it to remove lots of tiny fuzz and debris. Lastly I used Tool 3 the port wipe to clean the connector pins. I put some of the cleaning solution on it as directed in the manual and it removed tiny blacks bits from the pins. I immediately tested the connection again and the lightning cable locks in perfectly like new. I also used Tool 6 the speaker and switch brush to brush out some debris from my speakers, earpiece, and switches. That seemed to work pretty well too.I couldn’t be happier with how this tool works regarding functionality. I wish it came with a spare Tool 2/port brush as I see that getting kind of nasty and worn down after a few cleanings. Also, there wasn’t much cleaning solution in the bottle. I don’t see any signs of leakage, but it was only about 1/4 full. Not sure why it’s not a full bottle unless they’re trying to bait you into buying more at some extreme markup. Hopefully that isn’t the case and I’ll contact them and let them know it was mostly empty and request some more.I haven’t yet used Tool 4 or 5 which are for cleaning your charging cable connector. Mine are mostly in great shape with no visible black corrosion. I’ve seen pictures online of other people’s and mine never ever look like that. All in all, great tool. Glad I bought it and I would recommend others to purchase too. I gave it 4 out of 5 since they kind of dropped the ball on the ball on the near empty cleaning solution and didn’t provide a spare brush since that is the one tool likely of easily wearing out. They should consider providing one since this is a $25-30 cleaning tool amd if that wears out then the entire tool is somewhat useless.I bought the version for the lighting cable and it’s pretty good quality. I will likely purchase one for cleaning the USB-C on my other devices and I’m certain it will be the same level of quality this appears to be.

4.9 out of 5, rounding up to 5: rescued my iPhone 7 Plus's charging port
I rarely buy things based on Facebook ads, but I've been fairly desperately looking for some way to extend the life of my iPhone 7 Plus. It's to the point now where every Lightning cable I own has oxidization on it and only works in one direction and works intermittently (especially if the phone is moved while it's plugged in). I've ordered a couple other cotton-swab-type cleaning kits from Amazon and while they usually get a little black on the tips after sticking them in the port, it never made much of a difference. Especially with my aging phone's battery losing capacity, keeping it charged for going out (not that I've gone out much during the pandemic!) has been a challenge. This is the first product I've used that actually did something. With tool #1, I kept pulling huge pieces of lint out of the port over and over and over (had to do it a good few dozen times before the tool started coming out clean). After completing the steps for cleaning both the port and two of my cables (my third is in the car and I haven't cleaned it yet), one cable worked 100% rock-solid in both orientations and the second cable worked rock-sold in one orientation (I suspect the oxidization on one pin was just too much for even this tool). The phone no longer dings as if it's being plugged and unplugged several times a second, even if I hold the phone in my hand while it's plugged in.The only two reasons I'd knock 0.1 star off are that it didn't fully recover my second cable (probably not their fault, though) and the cleaning solution bottle produces a much bigger drop than the instructions call for and only half the canister actually contains solution, so I'm a little worried about running out prematurely. A better nozzle and more solution shouldn't cost them more than a couple cents more in manufacturing, so that would have been nice. Also, I don't know how durable the pick tool (#1) will be--I really went to town on my port (probably 100 total scrapes to get all the lint out) and it looks like I may have bent the rubber slightly. (That said, I've cleaned the port in 4 years, so it's not like I will need to do this weekly or even monthly, so even if it ends up being a single-use product, it was still worth it.) Still, those are very minor issues and I'll round the review up to 5 stars. The packaging is high-end and the instructions are very clear and very well-written. They definitely put a lot of thought and care into making the experience high-end and easy to follow. (This isn't some knock-off thing made by a random Chinese brand.) The star-shaped design for holding the tools is cool and makes it very easy to follow along. It's clear they really did work hard to find a design and materials that are intuitive and feel high-end.And the fact they put their family's photo at the bottom of the instruction sheet is probably an intentional move to tug on my heartstrings, but the fact it's a bootstrapped/Kickstarter-backed family-run startup warmed my heart enough to motivate me to leave this review. I wish them much success with a fantastic product!
