Good info, bad system
There's a lot of great world info, lore, and art in this book, but the RPG system (based on Cortex) is really awful. It's overly complicated, and I say this as someone who really loves crunch in systems like Pathfinder and GURPS.

Terrific, but fiddly system
Great physical book. Solid cover, gorgeous illustrations. Lots of lore for people that want to learn more about The Dragon Prince setting. The Cortex System upon which this RPG is built has a simple concept, but the rules then pile about a million "if, ands, buts, and also" guidelines into the mix which really complicates things. It's fine if you like that kind of detail, but it seems oddly complex for what is essentially an RPG based on an animated kids show. This is very useful if you want to learn more about the revamped Cortex System, but not so hot if you just want to roam Xadia and get into your own Callum-inspired adventures.

Unique TTRPG, Awesome book
This is a very fun and unique ttrpg for both Dragon Prince fans and table top gamers alike! It is dice based and a little difficult to understand as opposed to something like D&D, but its neat. The illustrations and descriptions of the creatures and races are beautiful and descriptive. It comes with multiple pre made characters to get you started too! Very immersive, beautiful book. Bought for my boyfriend who is a Dragon Prince fan and he and I both love it.

Very Little Campaign info
Tales of Xadia is a wonderful show, and was really excited about this book. I had problems ordering from the official website as you have to have a certain requirements to order just a pdf. The book was very rules heavy explaining how the game plays, and is very loose with lore.I was really hoping that it would have collected and expanded upon the lore of the world, fleshing out what the TV series teased and possibly gave some upcoming info on the next few seasons. The artwork is beautiful and at least you get a world "continent" map. However like many popular series RPGs "Avatar: Last Air-bender", you get heavy rules.... it assumes you are a fanboy and now everything about the series.Keep in mind a good RPG book is 80% lore and art work with 20% rules. The whole point of a "Series" RPG book is to give out lore info.... after all the CORTEX rules are free online.I felt you should just by a cheaper Tales of Xadia companion book, and just use an RPG rule of your choice. This was sadly not a good buy.

Narrative TTRPG at it's finiest
I bought this TTRPG because I was curious about the Cortex Prime system (the backbone of the system for Xadia) and I'm extremely glad I did! Cortex Prime is a great system that is very much a "plug and play" system with it's mods and Xadia offers a great example of what a finished system for it would appear. It's also really great that it's attached to a great IP like The Dragon Prince. The book itself has tons of lore for the world of Xadia and really blends the system and setting together. It's also not hard to take the system out of Xadia if you want to use it for another setting. If your group wants a break from D&D and more tactical table top RPGs, I'd highly recommend Tales of Xadia and Cortex!Only con I can think of is that I think the title should have been called Dragon Prince : Tales of Xadia for recognition of brand.

Great Quality/Awesome Book
This Game Handbook was very helpful for me because it contains all kinds of information regarding the tabletop game and how it is played, additional tales within the book is also great and helpful for those that are interested in The Dragon Prince universe. Thanks.
