I have only used a #14 needle so far. I sew on a wide variety of thicknesses of material. So far the needle is durable and I have not broken one at all. I sew about 6 hours a day. The only thing that is different is thethread breaks more often than I have ever had a problem. I use a Singer Heavy Duty machine and polyesterthread. Do not know if needle is causing the frequent breakage or if it is the thread. Price and quantity are certainly good value. I will know more as time goes on.

I used all of the different types of needles on my machine and none of them worked, they all made awful seams. Because of the needles I thought my sewing machine was broken for a week until I bought official Singer needles and my machine started working fine again. I also have an older machine.

There’s a tiny difference in length. It damages the machine. And the needle starts to bed.

Skipped stitches, broken thread, did not work at all in my Brother Simplicity machine. Back to my more expensive , but higher quality needles. Can’t return as I threw away packaging with barcode.
