As we took turns sitting in the chair we found ourselves relaxing and drifting off to sleep. Much like a cocoon wrapped around a baby keeping them secure and safe you find yourself wishing you could stay there all day. I use to work doing brain study activities and worked with many children, using a papoose board to cradle in small children or babies. If you can envision that, you can imagine the comfort of this swing chair where you can while away the day in daydreams!The strong construction made of a soft polyester cotton rope will support even being used all day for hours at a time. It is portable and lightweight so anyone can install it. The hardwood spreader bar is 47” long, beautifully finished and would look nice in any room for decor.This means, if moving around from location to location there is not worry as it is perfect to set up outside on the deck or inside for a casual feel. You can even take it Camping and use a tree to hang it from!We love the beach and cant wait to take it there where we stay as it has a covered nation and large beams that can be used for hanging it on.With a generous seat size of between 30 to 40 inches and support of small children to robust adults how can anyone go wrong!I have not seen a weight limit for support but this is a stout swing and my husband at 5’10” weighing 250 pounds or myself at 5’4” and 138 pounds found ourselves completely confident we could sit in this chair for hours at a time. Being summer, my next thought was how this weave may scratch the skin as I am older and skin is thinner and fragile. NO PROBLEM whatsoever, as it is so soft! The Mocha is a rich color and so far it is not hot at all but believe it is from the open weave design. Our choice was to hang ours in the loft area we are working to turn into a play room/office so it makes an inviting break from the stresses of life. Literally, it can be hung anywhere!We plan to buy this chair for gifts at Christmas, home warming gifts, baby shower gifts and “just for me” gifts and in general a nice way to say We Care!Reviewing products is something I take seriously because we depend on others for their honest and unbiased opinions when we shop online which seems a daily affair on Amazon. So comfy! I hung this from a beam on my screen porch. My husband and my dog have both sat in it together, and it held their ~280lbs with no problem. I love to swing, so I bought it with  MARATHON Swing Hanger for WOOD installation - Heavy duty hanger with Ball Bearing Technology up to 60 min continuous moving , so it's a great place to nap and swing. We ADORE these hammock swing chairs. Two fit side by side perfectly on our swingset. I am 5'8" and can stretch the fabric to support my feet, which is terrific. My only disappointment is that the mocha color is MUCH lighter in person than in the Amazon photo, so just be aware that it's more a dark tan than a brown color if you purchase.Photo: one teen and one grade schooler on our hammock chairs.

This is a Blissun hammock. Looking at stock photos from similar hanging chairs, this one seems identical to the other chairs selling for $20-$30 more. I cannot find a difference between them, other than price.This chair is exactly as described - we really like it. It’s packaged well, so when you remove it from its box, the swing is neatly hand-tied (3) to prevent any tangling while you hang it with your additional hardware.The weave is soft but becomes taut when you're seated. Other reviewers have commented about rips and such, so I'll make sure we don't have any items in our back pockets while we're using the chair. Also, I'm 5'9" and have easily stretched the weave to accommodate me from my head to my extended feet.Overall a great value and a welcome addition to our porch-time relaxation!

We like this chair quite a bit. It looks scratchy, but is actually very soft and comfortable. The only reason I dropped a star is because it would've been helpful if this came with some guidance on how and where to mount it including what additional materials you'll need.

I have come to determine that everyone needs a backyard swing. I bought this to delight my grand boys, but really, it is for me!!! Makes me see my world differently somehow. Like I’m swinging from a Star!The hammock material is soft. Looks strong.I have only had it a couple of weeks, but looks like it will hold up.The brown swing blends in naturally with my foresty backyard vibe.A great purchase. Brings great delight to all who sit in it.

My first ever hammock. I didn't know they made hammocks that only require one point to hang from instead of two. I just hung it from my large maple tree and I'm enjoying my yard from a different view and with more comfort than I've ever enjoyed it. It is made of yarn basically and a very sturdy wooden rod that holds it all together. The wood is stained and finished so it does seem more like an indoor or enclosed patio piece. However, I hung it in my yard under a large maple tree with a vinyl tree swing strap. It is very cozy. I almost fell asleep the first time I sat on it. Just be aware that it's more like a hammock chair/recliner versus one that you can fully lay down in. Also I plan to bring it inside when I'm not using it so the cats and dogs don't make a toy out of it. The yarn looks like it could snag fairly easily since it's soft. Overall I'm very impressed. I think I found my new happy place. 💕
