I ordered two of these for a road trip for my two boys. When they arrived one was already assembled ripped and had some dried gunk in the zipper. It had clearly been used. The listing even says it comes unassembled to protect the red sides in shipping. The other seemed better, it was partially assembled. It seemed clean though so we thought it was ok. I returned the dirty and ripped one and ordered a replacement. When the replacement came it was the best of the three. It was completely unassembled and the red sides were nice and stiff. That’s when I realized that other one we got in the original package was also an opened item. But at that point our trip was the next day and it was too late to do anything about it. The tables worked out well enough. But I was disappointed that I couldn’t just get two new unopened items the first time I ordered.

Fabulous product. Why does the company only allow you to purchase one per customer? I had to make 4 separate orders in order to get one for each of my kids. But it's a great product. You can easily pop it in the washing machine, the 1.5" lip around the edges (many other models have the lip around just 3 sides for some reason?) made it so that kids could play with blocks, legos, pop beads, and crayons in the car without issue. I love that the side pockets snap on and off. This was really well designed- someone really thought through what a child would need to make a car trip easy.

Just received this at my office today, which coincidentally is the one day a week I fetch my son from day care and daughter from school.I purchased to ease my kids of so much dependence on screens. If my kids are not staring at a screen in the car, they are fighting with each other or screaming at me. I was looking for a way to encourage them to entertain themselves without a screen. This was perfect! My toddler and my 8 year old can both keep their snacks, drink, toys and activities within arm’s reach. I love the edge that goes all the way around the tray, so crayons and markers stay on the tray and not on the floor.Almost cannot believe this worked out so well, great purchase!

it's easy to assemble, and looks really nice. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about what that the pockets on the side snapped on and off. While driving to the beach, my twins took both pockets off the side and one of my kiddos threw one out the window. :( I just wish that they woudn't come off at all. Other than that, this is a good item.

I purchased these lap trays for a 3 and 4 year old for a planned four hour road trip. The trays worked our perfect, our 4 year old loved having the tray on her lap for the entire trip. It made it very easy for her having a surface to set her tablet down on, as well as having the surface available for snacks along with the built in cup holder for a drink. I'm sure the pockets on the side will come in handy as well though we have yet to take advantage of that feature. I would highly recommend this product for road trips.

I bought this for travel and long car rides. This is a great way for kids to keep entertained and still stay organized. As a bonus it has plenty of storage for the kids toys and art. It's also a good way to have a snack in the car and keep messes at a minimum. I also like that the tray is made of a strong durable material that washes easily and stays looking new. A definite must for a family on the go.

My son loved it! We travel quite a bit and this was the perfect answer to traveling. It isn't flimsy and I love the pockets on the side to store his crayons, etc. Survived our first trip today, passed with flying colors he was able to color without losing his crayons, he also used his cup holder for his chocolate milk and it safely stayed put without spilling. Definitely worth purchasing!

This tray is awful! It is essential a plastic sheet with a hole for a cup laying on top of a foam piece with the same cut out, sitting in a flimsy fabric base. Nothing is attached, the fabric base that is supposed to give you an inch edging is so loose it barely comes up above the foam and would not keep anything from falling out. No way this would stay in place. Didn't even take it on our trip and will be returning. So disappointed after reading good reviews. I bought a $3 plastic tray at Target that worked so much better. Save your money.
