How wonderful to have a feather boa yarn made with bamboo - not only is bamboo super soft it is an eco-friendly fiber. That's why, when I can, I buy bamboo! If you like to be as green as possible consider this: Bamboo plants are the fastest growing woody plants in the world. Bamboo minimises CO2 and generates up to 35% more oxygen than equivalent stands of trees. Very little bamboo is irrigated and there is sound evidence that the water-use efficiency of bamboo is twice that of trees. Plus - it's soft! This gorgeously feathery, subtly shiny yarn is fringed on both sides and will make lovely scarves, accessories, pullover, plushy toys and is a great accent yarn!
