Initially when opening the first pack the quality of the bag seems almost thicker and better quality plastic than the original. Don't be fooled! These bags are a cheap very low quality knock off...NOT a replacement to the original. The cylinder fit is slightly off making the lid stay open. With some maneuvering you can get the lid to close but it is annoying. The worst part about these bags are the inability to lock in odor. The smell from the dirty diapers is obnoxious! It fills the room and then some. After getting the lid to close and still having the smell I did some investigating...it could be the mil of the bag just not being as many layers as original or could be sometimes when you pull the bag through the clamped opening to stretch it out tiny tears are made due to the cheap quality. I would assume any tiny hole in the bag would allow the odor to funnel out. Whatever the reason they are horrible! I almost replaced the pail itself thinking it was compromised somehow but upon replacing with original bags odor is gone! Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks for original replacements!...remember you are dealing with doody piled up sitting in a pail until emptied...ENOUGH SAID

For the price savings these bags do the job. However the design is not as good as the name-bandThe dispenser ring has a flimsy plastic top that catches the diaper genie lid and prevents an easy close. Also, that plastic top can (and did for us) separate from the ring causing the unused bag to unfurl from the ring - a lot of the bag was then wasted.As with most generic options the price saving is nice but the design and operation is never as good as the original.For whats its worth we have not bought again; instead have used coupons at warehouse store to get generic pricing on the branded original (4 rings for $12).

All refills are not equal. I've tried a few generic brands, and these are the worst. They fit ok, but the material is too thick so you end up wasting a bit with every change because you need a bit more to tie the knot. All other generics I've tried are much thinner. Also, you'd think a thick bag would hold the stink in better, but not so. These are the stinkiest by far. After these run out, I'll not buy them again.

I personally thought that these bags do not contain smell of the diapers as well as the Diaper Genie brand bags. Since I started using this package I've noticed that I have to empty the diaper genie much more frequently in order to try and keep my sons room from smelling like diapers. However, they are a perfect fit for my diaper genie which is why I am giving it 3 stars instead of less. If you plan on emptying the bag every day, they may work for you.

Love the price,... but as others have mentioned, the smell leaks thru... if you don't have a sensitive nose, maybe you won't notice. Also, as others have mentioned, they are a bit more difficult to manage, getting a new bag started and tying the knot... due to the type of plastic & thickness of the plastic. I won't say they are bad, and the price is actually awesome,... but I'll spend more for bags that do a better job to contain the smell... For me, that is the primary reason to have a special diaper pail and special bags.

these are really thick...and i bet your thinking well isnt that a good thing?..well yes and no.... i would say very durable, however the bags have some trouble exiting the ring. i have to keep putting my hand in my diaper genie to push the diapers down because there is alot of resistance in the roll. which defeats the purpose of the genie.. aaaaand they have no odor controll so my room stinks after just one poopy diaper

Sometimes the plastic gets all tangled up and is hard to pull out but for the price, I don’t mind. The plastic isn’t flimsy and keeps the smell in the diaper genie as well as the name brand.
