These clips is very nice and cool colour come in a clear plastic box, which seems fairly sturdy and durable for being a small plastic box. It also has a lid that snugly fits onto the box rim and clicks into place reasonably securely. I have as of yet not had any issues with this lid randomly falling off and spilling contents. In fact, I somewhat have the opposite problem, where it is hard for me to pry the lid off. But at the same time, keep in mind that I do have physical disabilities that include spine issues, as well as gripping ability issues, therefore it is automatically going to be more difficult for me to do such tasks than it would on average. So most others would likely not have the same difficulty with opening the lid. As for the clips, they are all the same size and style, but with several color variations. These are an olive-avacado mix-green, fuscia-ish pink, goldenseal or ochre yellow, and a royal blue. Their body is made from a heavy duty plastic or similiar material. Their spring coil is likewise strong and heavy duty, as it is actually quite difficult for me to press their 2 paddles together to open their mouth. I do believe this would also be at least a similiar level of difficulty for the average user. Once their grip has been correctly set and properly fitted in the desired manner and location, then their grip will hold surprisingly well. It will take a good amount of effort to forcefully pull something like a thin blanket out from their closed grasp, assuming you could even do so without damaging the blanket. Of course, with these being small clips and a blanket in this example, this is also relevant to the type of objects these are, and their size. I have had these clips for a while now, at least a month, or possibly longer. They work great for securing liners to the litter pan in my guinea pig cage, which is what I have been using them for. So far, the liners do not come loose on their own, and only rarely has any clips gotten bumped into hard enough to shift their grip position. Even then, they still continued to grip the liner to the pan until I noticed and straightened it out. Plus, so far, none of the clips have ever failed to work properly or become broken in any way. Based on this result over this amount of time, I fully expect these to last a very long time, and so long as you're not trying to break them. The only thing I do not yet know about in regards to the durability of these clips is, are they rust-proof? Or can they rust even just a little with enough exposure? I am not using them as clothesline clips, or outside at all, so I cannot be certain of this. But regardless of that one unknown detail, I am indeed very happy with the performance, quality, and durability of these clips. 5 out of 5 stars.
