I have shot 3 hogs and 3 deer with these. Out of 6 impacts, I have had 4 clean kills and two for sure non deployed broad head blades. Of the clean kills only one broad-head base could be used again but I never will. The blades break nearly every time and that's not a huge deal but they tear up the groves as they hit bones and then the broad-head is useless. The 2 of 6 non deployed blades is a critical issue and caused two non recovered should have been killed animals. When the blades do not deploy, there is little penetration even with 75# bow at 20 yards as there is no cutting edge on the front side of the blades. When they deploy the kill is quick, when they don't you stand to wound and loose the animal. After the first non deployed head I went back and read the reviews and saw others have had the same issue. Knowing there is an issue I only use the new out of the box heads and I very carefully check each head and work the blades prior to use. Just last Friday I took a hog clean then Saturday morning I had my second non deployed non penetrating head that went in about 10" into a buck then fell back out after about 150 yards of the animal running off. Although I think these heads should be pulled from the market, when they do work, they work well and the construction is good. Working 60% of the time is not good and the damage to the head after use pretty much makes them a one shot head. First one that failed to deploy... possible user error as I did not know and possibly may have locked the blades down somehow since I did not carefully go through them and they may have been set up for a while before use. Second time clearly an issue with the heads. Attached pics of the heads after the shots this weekend. The torn up head entered back ribs left ribs and stopped at right front inside leg passing through thick hog skin, two sets of ribs and then into the front leg. It cannot be reused. The second is the non deployed head. I have 6 of these new heads left and at 60% probability of working I will not use them.Use them again on hogs this summer 2018 sine they were new from the pack and was not going to use the for deer. Two 20 yard shots. Two non deployed pass through. Two non recovered animals. Threw the lat of them away. Went to muzzy trocar...

Pretty good broadhead
I gave this a 4 star rating because of the spider retention clips. I have had several situations where one blade has slid down, and i had to reset it. The same issue i have had with the Rage Broad-heads. I have only taken a pig with one so far and they seem to work well. I have tried Muzzy 3 Blade, Magnus Buzz-cut, Rage 2 Blade, Montec G5 3 Blade, Blood-runner 2 Blade, Grim Reaper expandable 3 Blade, and of Course these. The Rage and Blood-runners got pass through's every time. These, Grim Reaper, and Rage fly the straightest. Grim Reapers and Blood-runners are my choice from now on. Like i always say, they all work, if you put a razor sharp tip with blades on the end of an arrow and have good shot placement, you will kill what you are shooting. Its more or less what fly's the straightest while giving you confidence of deployment and NOT pre deployment.

Ive been using them for a couple years now and have takin two deer with them. They are very sharp and very accurate. I dont have to adjust my sights at all from field points to these. The 1-1/2" cutting diameter makes a big hole and both the deer I shot have been pass throughs at 32 and 35 yards. Blew through those deer like nothing. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is the spider clip retention system. As stated in other reviews the clips get damaged easily and are not convenient to deal with. If g5 were to come up with a better retention system this would be a 5 star product.

Accurate, Dependable.
These are my preferred whitetail heads. They open reliably and the user can adjust the tension and swap blades easily. I also put mine in the dish washer to clean them after a successful hunt. I would not recommend for elk but whitetail or smaller these are excellent. They group with my field points. When these all sell out I think grim reaper heads are the next best out there.

T3 Broadheads
Very durable and strong, had shot rages before this time and penetration was always a question. Complete passthrough on deer this year and a very nice bloodtrail. For those who get caught up in reviews of broadheads, there are no broadheads out there that wont give you good results, or they wouldn't be sold. I too get caught up in reviews of broadheads and have shot many deer with different heads, they all will do the trick if you put a good shot on a deer or other animal for that matter. I just prefer these because the blades are very easy to replace, the spider clips are great, just watch a youtube video if you have problems with getting the blades to lock, and they are very stout.

Lethal
Love the T3, first deer I took was a mature doe, the broadhead blew through the front shoulder and nearly made a pass through. The T3 also easily laid down a mature buck later in the season. Both deer piled up less than 75 yards from where I shot them, and I have been able to reuse the broadheads, with new blades. Very pleased with the T3's so far. The only problem I noticed is that one of the 3 blades did not fully open when I shot the buck, however it still did the trick.

wow!!!
holy crap at the damage! i stuck a 5pt buck this morning with this from about 30yrds. he busted me 3 times in a row. sounding the alarm and ruining the rest of the morning. i spotted me again but as he was starting to bolt i stuck him quartering toward me. when i found him his guts were on the ground. so it went through long ways front to abdomen. broke a blade but damn sure took him out. went in about 1 inch sliced out about 5 inches! now i have 1 broadhead left. time to get his pappa!

Perfect Price for an AWESOME broadhead!
These are one of the best expandable broadheads on the market. Any deer that I have shot with one has been a clean pass through. Every one has their "preference of broadheads" that are out on the market, and I have tried many. One of the competitors that starts with an "R" is also awesome, BUT the replaceable blades are a pain to change out, and the threads on the screws become stripped out after one or two replacements! These are EASY to change, a VERY LETHAL broadhead, and an AWESOME PRICE - almost 7 bucks cheaper than what my archery shop wants!
