I can say it was OK in 60 mph winds for me. As long as you stake it down properly, it holds up very well.

Yes. I can put 2 cots in and have gear room.

If you use a light inside a canvas tent at night, you will cast a shadow, or silhouette on the walls. One can see it's lit outside the tent.

Yes, I set up by myself for many times with similar tent. It is easy to do it with instruction manual.
