Steamer Garment

Edit: The seller contacted me in the comments and I was able to return the defective device and obtain a replacement. It is AMAZING!! I use it every morning. It heats up VERY quickly (under a minute) and is ready to use. This is important to me because I often don't have a lot of extra time to wait for a device to heat up (my old steamer takes at least five minutes before it's ready to use. It is great for travel and doesn't take up much room in my "underseater" luggage. This allows me to pack light and not worry about wrinkles when I reach my destination. I have since purchased a second one. Highly recommend.Original: It must be defective. It heats up very quickly (which is great), but it almost immediately starts oozing brownish liquid from the steam holes. It stained a white blouse before I realized it was happening. I have only put water in it and this happened the first time I used it. I wiped it off and tried several more times with both tap water and distilled water (the pamphlet says you can use either), but it happens every time. I contacted the seller a few weeks ago (via their seller page) and still haven't received a response. I am going to return it to Amazon as defective and try a replacement. I hope the replacement works because the size is perfect for travel or quickly steaming one outfit it the morning and heats up very quickly. These features are the only reason I'm even bothering to try again, but their customer service is lacking.

I always check the reviews before buying anything and take negative and critical reviews in consideration first.I was looking for a portable mini steamer with long cord, reliable, not spitting water and leaving marks on my clothes, something I could take to my work office or on the trip without giving up too much of the valuable suitcase space.I just received the BIZOND and tried it for 2 days so far. Very happy with it's performance so far:- like that cable cord is so long, usually they are much shorter on comparable devices. Long cord makes it more accessible and easy to navigate which is important when operating hot steamer.- small size, doesn't take too much storage room which is great for tiny New York City apartments- heating very fast! I didn't have to wait at all, it was a matter of seconds when steamer was ready to work.- I tried it on my new curtains first and then on my pantsuit. It didn't spit water, steam was even and steady. Liked the brush attachment in use on the suit.- it came with a proper instruction manual where everything is detailed and explained - it makes a difference and shows good product development and production. And storage/ travel bag is a good bonus!I like my new little steaming helper, and I also like the idea of unlimited warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee in case it decides to act out on me.

This steamer has changed my life. Seriously. I hate ironing, but I also hate wrinkly clothes, so things can be difficult for me. I often either just iron (badly) or wear wrinkled clothes, especially when traveling because everything always gets messed up in my suitcase. There were multiple options on amazon, but honestly I picked this one because it had the cutest packaging and I looked at the dimensions and this one seemed to be the smallest. I was kind of skeptical that it would be as effective as I would have liked, because the size is compact and because the price is reasonable--and now I am really glad that I picked this steamer. I plan on taking it on every trip and using it at home.For both of the trips I recently took, it fit easily in my carry on luggage without requiring me to sacrifice any space that I needed for other things. I was trying to only pack what I needed and not waste any space, and this one was perfect for that. And then when I actually used the steamer, it took out the wrinkles and was easy to use. Another thing is that this steamer works quickly--in terms of heating up and in terms of not taking too much time to steam clothing. The only thing I would say is to be careful when using it because the cute packing is deceptive--the steam that comes out is hot (as it should be). I think that, for everyday use and for clothing, this steamer is just as effective as those really big steamers but this one is travel friendly and storage-space friendly. I also had an issue (that was more due to me making a mistake) and contacted the seller. They got back to me right away and were super helpful.

I can't say I dislike this steamer but here is why I only gave it three stars. (By the way, I returned it because there was some black stuff, like oil, inside of the water reservoir and I wasn't sure what it would do to the steam, and there were a couple of very small cracks.) The steamer works fine and makes a lot of steam with minimal water spitting. It's compact and relatively light, so is good for travel. I would probably keep it if not for the defect, but the 2 reasons I didn't ask for a replacement are:--- I didn't like that it's not ergonomic, at least not for my small hands. Even after 10 minutes of holding it I felt strain in the palm of my hand. There is something to be said for the design that uses a separate and thinner handle...--- The steamer is short, and it's a plus... but it is also a minus because you end up holding it very close to the steam. I had to wear a wool glove (which also affects the grip) or else I would get burned. It's not a big deal but that would mean that if I wanted to travel in the summer I would have to take a glove with me to use it.If you don't think that these two considerations are an issue for you then the steamer is pretty nice, if delivered new and without some black substance inside. Can't tell if it would work consistently well for a long time since I had to return it soon.
