Good Quality, but too tight tops.
Way too tight at the top, so we cut them off. Use them under regular socks for Hiking and Walking (the 2nd layer helps to prevent blisters). They are of very good quality and worth the price. If you have toothpick legs, then maybe you won't have to cut off the tops.

Great base layer to keep your feet toasty
This is a simple product that does it's job well. I have used thermasilk products for years and have never been dissapointed in their quality or functionality. Great base layer to wear out cycling when it's cold out. Put on a pair of these and slip a pair of good cold weather socks over it and you should be able to tackle any weather conditions up to and including sub zero temperatures.I sweat a TON and these work about as well as can be expected for someone like me in the sweat wicking department. In regards to the fit, I did not have any issues. I played catcher from little league through high school and have riden most of my life. As a result I have MASSIVE thighs and calves and the size large fit me just fine, although they are a little tight at the top. That's fine, they are supposed to be. These are supposed to stay up and should be tight to prevent them slipping down while walking (or pedaling in my case).Do yourself a favor and grab a couple of sets of these if you spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter. Your feet will thank you for it!

I couldn't perceive any warmth....
Didn't seem warm, so I decided to test. I wore one leg with and one leg without (with normal wool socks on both feet of course) for 20 minutes outside today in NYC, around 15 degrees F. My leg & foot with with the Terramar liner on felt no warmer. Inexpensive, but not worth it.

Only thing better would be electric socks
This is my second pair of these - the first ones only lasted 5 years. I'm not sure I really got my money's worth out of them =;->.I wear these when riding my motorcycle when it's cold (at least to me - below 40*F) and they work very well. Between these and wool socks, my feet stay warm enough to ride all day and into the evening - unless the temps drop into the low 30s, at which point I stop riding.I'm happy with them and expect these will last me the next five years.

Fox River Coolmax socks feel much better and work better as well
They feel just as rough as 100% nylon socks. Fox River Coolmax socks feel much better and work better as well.

Always a Good Buy.
Always a good purchase. Lovely warm yet thin socks. My only complaint is the gigantic logo they stick on the toe of each sock in a contrasting thread. I see to it I pick out every bit of it. Otherwise I can't wear a shoe that's low cut without this wierd mark sticking out and making people gawk at my ankles. Yup, thread by thread I pull it right out.

Warm socks or liners
I wanted a good calf high pair of sock liners that could be worn under thick wool socks, or primarily (daily) by themselves with dress shoes. Much warmer then any dress socks I have (even the calf high pairs). Terramar is my favorite thermal brand, and I'm never disappointed with their products. They have two lengths, one that goes right under your calf muscle and one that goes about half way up (what these were). I'd definitely recommend them, especially if you can find them on sale somewhere.
