As a Master Gardener with some back issues, I needed a tool to help minimize my time being hunched over in the garden. This tool is sturdy, and helps remove the entire root from weeds. Easy to use and extremely helpful. It’s built for life, and is continuously used in the garden for weed management/maintenance.

Easy to use. Does a good job pulling out entire root. Works much better than I expected. Well made.

Pleased so far. I picked it as I saw a review on line on you tube. I can't say it worked as well for me but it did get the majority of the weed out and was pretty easy to use. I do wish the prongs that go into the ground were a little longer and wider to get the bigger weeds in one swoop.

I tested this on approximately 50 to 60 so-called weeds just to see how easy it was to use and how effective, and I discovered it works very well. No more bending down to dig up weeds. It seems to work best on moist soil, especially after a rain. You will however have substantial holes in your lawn as a result of using this tool (2.5 inches wide by 4 to 5 inches deep), however these holes are approximately the same size of hole you would make if you were aerating your lawn...so technically this device both removes weeds and aerates your law at the same time (two for one?). I like it.

The product is well built with good weld beads/lines; not tack welded. It’s very functional and removes deep rooted weeds with relative ease.

Doesn't work as good as the one that grabs the weed.

Really easy to use and efficient, still had to pull some smaller weeds but that is true with all tools of this type. I would recommend and buy again before some of the others

This thing is amazing. The only thing I would change is the handle. Plastic. It's by far the weakest link, with that said my ground is very hard. I would pay money for a sturdier model. However, if you have soft ground, the handle probably won't be an issue. This thing pulls weeds out with THE WHOLE ROOT. 85-90% of the time. Can't get em all but if you're looking for consistency, this is it. 4-stars because of the handle. Otherwise I would rate 5.

If you don't like dandelions and similar type of weeds, and want to save your back, get the Gardena weed puller 🥹 Seriously! After moving from a low-maintenance condo to a house, I spent 45 back-breaking minutes bending over with a mini shovel trying to remove weeds. Decided to go back inside the house and research alternatives because I wasn't built for that kind of physical labour 😅: that's how I came across the Gardena weed puller. As others have mentioned, you can remove huge dandelions and weeds in about 20% of the time it would take to do it manually (assuming you remove weeds with the entire roots intact) and physically the Gardena weed puller makes the job sooo much easier. I also really like the foot rest so you can help push the blade into the ground rather than using your arm strength to do it (some competitive weed pullers I considered did not have the foot rest). This tool is really easy to use: insert the blade ideally into the centre of the weed, push the blade all the way into the ground using the foot rest, twist the tool 180 degrees (for huge weeds I sometimes twist 360 degrees to wrap the entire weed around the blade) and pull upwards to remove the weed from the ground.The only "drawback" is that it does leave a hole in the ground (some soil/earth is removed along with the weed)....however, I see it as a positive since the hole is essentially aerating your lawn to help grow thicker, lusher lawn 👌🏼 Love my Gardena weed puller.

Once I had read the instructions and was turning it the right way it worked brilliantly and really removed tap roots well.
