Raptor Pull Handle for Sand Scoops

Stronger than I expected! I've applied more force that I would recommend to the two pull handles on my scoops. Neither have failed. Only complaint is the thread protectors fall off very easily. I gashed my finger on the screw, ended up making large plastic covers that thread on.

Bought this to help pull those full scoops of sand up from the depths--It works great. Also good to hold the scoop on your shoulder just in the right place--like a hook.I suggest changing the hardware to stainless and adding nylon acorn nuts. Cut the screws off just past the handle after you install the acorn nuts and file them so they are not sharp.I've learned from experience that an unexpected wave will smack your scoop into your legs (or worse--a bystanders) and you don't want the long bolts cutting or poking anything. Plus when you throw the scoop on your shoulder........well you get the idea.Good durable handle--3 years so far and no issues--recommended.

Put this on a shovel handle, worked out great.

Installed easily on my wooden handle and proved to be of use on the first trial. The only thing that I can add as a suggestion is the inclusion of 2 thin pieces of rubber to go under the plastic handle where the hard plastic meets the wooden handle--about the thickness of a bike innertube. The included rubber pads are only of use for a much thinner fiberglass pole. I am going to experiment with this later.

This makes shaking sand through a scoop so easy and controllable. It feels sturdy and well made, and came with all the hardware to put it on the fiberglass handle I adapted from a Harbor Freight shovel. My only complaint is I cannot keep it from spinning on the handle. I’m afraid to crank down on it too much because I don’t want to break it or crack the fiberglass handle. Even with the rubber inserts it will not stay in position. That is pretty frustrating, but other than that it’s great. Definitely worth the price. I only wish it came with a solution to keep it from spinning.

Take your time and adjust it right for you, wasn't hard to install, time will tell how it holds up. For the price, this is great.

I really liked this product for the price, it is a real hand saver on my Coob Scoop and wooden handle from Ace Hardware. I have arthritus in my thumb and it took all the pressure off my thumb....a suggestion when installing on a larger wooden handle, I set the two rubber grips on the top of my oven when I was baking some potatoes. This warmed up the rubber, and made it a lot easier to install the four nuts and bolts to secure it. This thing really works great!!!
