Alani Nu Sparkling Water "Cotton Candy," Naturally Flavored, 0 Calories, 0 Sugar, 0 Sweetners, 0 Caffeine, 12 Fl Oz per Can (Pack of 8)

Ok, so at first one may think that Cotton Candy flavored water would be gross... but, let me ask you this:Do you like the coke special "Starlight" flavor? Do you like sparkling waters? If answer is yes, then boy are you in luck! This water is the best of both!I cannot find the coke Starlight anymore anywhere except for this little gas station/convenience store out in the valley that I happen to pass by once every 2 weeks. I always stop there now and buy 2 Coke Starlights. But when they run out, then what? Well, I found this cotton candy flavor water, that's what! It has a similar taste to the Coke starlight, and BONUS!, it's water, so there are no calories or sugar!A win-win in my book!

I was very excited to find these because the flavors offered are more specialty and not something made by other water companies. We got the cotton candy and the lemon creme. Within a day, we both noticed that after drinking our waters, our mouths felt coated in something as well as our mouths almost being numb. I was so paranoid in fact, that we took a covid test to make sure it wasn't that. Nope. Negative.So, we stopped drinking them and then tried again a few days later. Same problem. Numb mouth and throat and loss of taste/lack of taste for other foods.My son also came to me and asked if we had noticed it, before we shared the same with him.There's something wrong with the flavor additive if it's causing consumers to have numb mouths and throats or lack of taste for awhile after drinking. Makes me very concerned. I have a soda stream and make some of my own water with the Bubly drops, and not even they do this to our mouths.Will not buy again.

UPDATE: what happened? Why is it impossible to now find this flavor? The best, and in my opinion, the only good flavor. 😣I tried this out at my parents house in Nevada. When I got back to California I can not find this flavor ANYWHERE! They have all the energy alani’s and so many different flavors like the creamy lemon (yuck) but no cotton candy. Since I’m OBSESSED I found it on Amazon and have several packs delivered every couple weeks. I love my sparkling waters and have tried a million flavors, but this is my absolute favorite!

There's so many sparkling waters to choose from in the market currently, but Alani is definitely hard to beat here. This is a very simple flavor that is refreshing and not too overpowering at all- just a light flavor with a sweet hint of cotton candy. DEFINITELY worth it to try!! I haven't seen any other sparkling water companies offer this flavor, I'm glad Alani has this option and other creative ones as well that make them stand out! Worth the money if you're looking for a refreshing & different sparkling water out there!

I generally like Alani Nu products and find that they tend to have a good flavor. However, this is pretty much just sparkling water and not some fun carbonated cotton candy juice like I had expected. If you like sparkling water generally then you may enjoy this, but if you don't then this will probably just taste like pennies to you.

I bought the Pina Colada and Cotton Candy. I was trying not to drink energy drinks so when i saw they made a sparkling water I was happy to buy it. The cotton candy smells good but does not taste like cotton candy. The Pina Colada was the worse thing in the world even a drop is disgusting doesnt smell like Pina Colada. They Make a pina colada energy drink i still dont know how this is the same company. Now i know why it was so cheap. i couldnt finish any of these drinks i ended up dumping them down my sink.

The after taste is very cotton candy, love that! But that bitterness when you first take a drink.. ick 😔
