Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade, 3 Ounce (Pack of 4)

Best pomade I have ever used. I bought a 4 pack and I'm still on the first tin. I can't say that for many other products. If you have stubborn hair and it won't stay in place, Murray's is definitely the answer. If Murray's can't style your hair you really have a problem. This is a very thick waxy pomade. Its extremely hard to get out but if you use it everyday its not a problem. It hurts combing your hair back for the first time after you apply it, but after a few passovers it's fine. It will rip some hairs out. But you have to take the bad in order to get the good. This product holds like no other. I can put my head out of the window of a moving car and it will barely move it. Through out the day it thins out and gets more pliable. It shines bright but not too bright. Its greasy but that's the look you want with this stuff.

I use this product prior to applying my regular styling products, as a volume agent. Been using it for over 10 years. It adds shine and increases control, compared to just applying your styling products without it.However, the price has been slowly increasing over the last few years and at the time of this review, it's $20 for four. At Walmart, they're less than $3 each. Buy elsewhere unless you hate money.

Always been the best super hold

Love this product! Yes it is oil based so it will be tough, but it holds!Tips for use:Get about a dime size and rub your hands together to get a bit warm. Work in from back to front and then comb. If you would like to break up the grease and make it easier to deal with then add some coconut oil, not much though.You can also fill sink with hot/warm water to about halfway up outside of container while you bathe. Once you’re out it should be easier to deal with.Wash hair twice to get out good amount of product.

I have been using this same product since I was a teenager.I am now 56 and I still am using this same product.

A very heavy wax with little a neutral wax smell that doesn’t linger. Heavy hold. Won’t wash out with one wash. I leave it in for a week anyway and use other products in conjunction with this. This is a base wax to set your hair up to use other products
