Autodesk Maya 2023 Basics Guide

This textbook is very good at teaching the user how to use Maya in a step by step process while also giving many helpful tips/tricks. Even though I have only recently bought the book, I have already learned new things I'll be able to use. The overall quality of the book is good however I will say it could be easily damaged due to it being such a large book being bond by a thin paperback cover.Overall it is a great investment for new Maya user's and I highly recommend.

It is good for a beginner to explore more about Maya step by step.

Empty Shell is a page-turner. I couldn’t put it down. It is brilliantly aligned with end-times biblical prophecy. Even though some elements of prophecy will not be known until the events take place, Empty Shell is a thrilling description of how things may unfold. If you’re interested in prophecy you’ll love Empty Shell.

I am studying art and want to learn Autodesk Maya for 3D modeling; there were two books on amazon for Maya 2023, including this one.I order it because the book comes with some videos, and they are not by any means long videos for educating you by watching but instead supporting materials while learning from the book, which is good.The information in the book looks very organized, the book print could be better, and the paper is thin, making the book with the 600+ pages weight acceptable.My main issue, though, is that the images in the book are dark, and the text is hard to read.Other than that, it's a great book.Once I get through the book and learn from it, I might update the review, but I will not give it more than 4 stars due to the abovementioned issues.

The reading material is good - the TUTORIALS are terribly faulty.Not all of them, but I expected much better from the line of books offered by this publisher.But it's the same as everywhere else, including the outdated MAYA tutorials on the AutoCAD website.The other reviewers of this book must not be doing the tutorials - some TUTS have important steps left out altogether - beyond frustrating.After experiences with other sources, I was super excited to get a fresh start in this book, but that fizzled out with frustrating TUTS. I'll study the book and skip the TUTS, which are a very important part.There is a place for reporting mistakes in the book to the author - I'm collecting a book-full.Extremely disappointed...
