I ordered this book because it includes a gay couple, without them being the focus of the story at all. This has been very important for me, as I seek out books for my daughter (we are a two-dad-family). The stories of Charlie & Mouse are cute and entertaining. Great for a child who is starting to read. I keep it in the car, and my daughter picks it up every ride!

Very kid friendly. Simple words and language for the most part,but still very interesting to read. Short chapters about things kids can relate to.

The perfect blend of picture book and chapter book.A well deserving recipient of the Theodor Suess Geisel award.Illustrations are perfect fit between animated and real.Nothing odd here. All good fun for readers and kids.Will give it to five year old grandchild for Christmas andbuy more for the classrooms in the school where I volunteer,

My oldest loves this book. He finds the stories hilarious and relatable because he has a little brother. We are about to order more in this series.

This was a gift for my grandsons. The story reminds me of two of them who are brothers. My grandson loved the story so much, he slept with the book the first night he had it.

We love Charlie & Mouse so much I purchased a new copy to give as a gift, but unfortunately it arrived without a dust jacket. I will not be able to gift it in this condition :(

Arrived in excellent shape. I love this series of beginner chapter books that are easily relatable for my 5-year-old grandson.

This is so cute, my kids age 7,5 and 4 love it. Pretty short chapter book, so can read in one sitting. Great story, great illustration.
