The Reto Ultra Wide and Slim is a hoot to carry and shoot with. Super light and unobtrusive to carry anywhere. I did not understand the hype of the previous incarnations of this camera until I ran a few rolls through it. Super fun! You outta purchase one!I am still waiting on the lab to send my film back, maybe this week. I am quite familiar with the lo-fi/ Lomo aesthetic in film photography (Holga's, Dianas, pinhole, 110 format, etc.), but I expect to be pleasantly surprised by the results of the RUWS. The results of this camera view online are compelling, if my shots are half as good I will be over the moon.Even though I wish this camera had multiple exposure capability, and a hotshoe, and some exposure control, and on and on; I know in my heart it would ruin the experience. This is about as basic as it gets (a box that holds film) and it is up to me to use my skills and creativity as a photographer to create worthwhile photos. BTW, get one. No home should be without a RUWS!Even though I have a number of cameras at my disposal, the RUWS most certainly will get the nod often. You should get one! Steal it if you must, lol.In closing, just do it already. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Every roll of film I used in this camera was ruined or blank. The camera simply doesn’t work at all. I spent lots of money mailing film to be developed and both the camera and that process was a waste. Don’t buy this camera. I’ve tried many things to make it work and it just doesn’t.

Works perfectly

Unter den neuen Plastikkameras sicher eine der kleinsten (siehe Fotovergleich mit der Agfaphoto Plastikkamera) Passt definitiv in jede Hosentasche.Da sie keinen Blitz hat, ist sie nur für Außenaufnahmen geeignet. Der Weitwinkel eignet sich dafür auch perfekt.Fixierte Linse, wie alle anderen Plastikkameras, erfordert kein Fokussieren:Das heißt auch, kein (langsamer) Autofokus, den leider die meisten "richtigen" Analogkameras aus den 90ern noch haben. Das störte mich immer am meisten: Echte "Schnapp"schüsse waren so nie wirklich möglich.Hiermit schon. Es geht wirklich nur ums Bild. Alles Denken geht in die Komposition des Bildes. Ausschnitt des Bildes, wo kommt das Licht her und wie könnte es das Foto beeinflussen? Abdrücken. Fertig.

Perfekt liten billig kamera om man vill experimentera med såkallad lomography. Har haft mycket roligt med den och är inne på tionde rullen svartvit film.En kamera kan inte bli enklare än såhär.
