Gorgeous With a Luxury Vibe
I bought two sizes of this item and use them for both salt and pepper. They came well packaged and in perfect condition. They are expensive but, I did wait for a sale to make them a little more affordable. I justified the expense because not only are they functional but, they look beautiful out on my counter with some additional decor like a few stacked cookbooks, a pretty spoon rest and a faux plant. These definitely feel and look like a luxury purchase but, they feel as if they will last a lifetime and could even be passed down to family at some point. I decided to make the investment and I'm glad I did.

The grinding mechanism is entirely white plastic
I like the design but want it to be functional for many years. I bought to replace a Peugeot set that is worn. This will not stand up to daily use.
