This is the first SlimCase 2 I’ve purchased. I have 2 of the original Dexas SlimCase clipboards and they have held up wonderfully. This one seems just as good so far. I like how it opens on the side instead of the bottom. These are great in our homeschool setting so they really don’t get a lot of abuse, but hold up well to young children and daily use. These are great for putting essential pencils, pens and erasers in and having daily work organized. They have also been really useful for when we do outside activities or anything away from our designated schoolroom. I also appreciate the color options for a personalized touch for each child. These have helped us stay organized and seem durable enough for what we need.

Works great, is of good quality and thickness. Lots of room inside for papers and pens. Hinge is still working great after a year of daily use!

I love the usefulness. Just wish it was more durable. A piece chipped when I dropped it. But it didn’t hurt the integrity of the item. Closure is kind of weak if overfilled. Wish there was a clip at the bottom too!Useful, perfect size.

I miss read the description. It is a version 2, not 2 clipboards.Still, I like that is not too bulky.The build quality is as expected. Not really tough like say a Dewalt, but it's light weight enough to carry all day.Would've be nice to have some sort of paper retention inside.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:As a sped teacher, I use this daily! It fits so many papers inside along with some pens/pencils. It came in handy when my aide would use it to go class to class with students. It’s a must have for teachers!

I use this to hold my watercolor paints and pad when I travel. It holds both and keeps them safe. It provides a lovely, smooth surface for me to paint on so I don't make a mess. Easy to clean. This would be great for anyone who needs to keep their papers or supplies mobile! The sparkles are super cute as well!

Anybody wanting to buy the Sea Foam Green coloring, just a warning! It is not what you think the color will be. I had to get two pictures because I think I understand why the product image looks more like sea foam than what the actual color is (light blue).The two images are of the same clipboard. I had to take two photos because it was not capturing the true color of the clipboard. The actual color is the second photo, the blue clipboard. Note: none of these images are edited.Very misleading product images, so yes, when you take a photo of the clipboard, it will look sea foam green, but it is not! Just a warning, it is actually blue (second photo).I’m not too upset, it’s still cute and what I need for substituting classes. It holds all the papers I need inside and the ones I need in the outside.It’s not too flimsy, when writing hard it gives in a little but honestly not that much. Not enough to knock a star down or mess up my hand writing. Just like any plastic that doesn’t have support in the middle it’s going to give just a tiny bit.I’m only knocking points down to the very misleading color and some scuffs on the back. But other than that, it’s good for what I need it for.
