Good Quality Machete - Heavy!
I like the look and heft of this blade. Solid strikes. ...butIt has taught me that heavier is not necessarily better. Cutting with this is hard work and I just don't generate the swing speed. It's best for larger diameter brush.

Not built like the old days...
Nice size, metal not at firm as I would prefer but does the job. Handle not very sturdy, half of the handle broke off the second day we used it not very strong. I definitely would not but it again. I have a machete my grandfather owned we used when i was growing up back in the late 80's that is a work hoarse and is still preforming better than anything built today. If I could find a Machete like that one I'd buy 10!!!

It slices and dices makes thousands of Julianne fries
Awesome size , it came dull but that was easily rectified so i sharpened it and I added grip tape to the handle for better control. it has held up so far so good this ranks in the top ten for machetes it is no tramotina but its far better the gerber or cold steel. I enjoy using all three of my imacasa machetes and i will be buying more keep up the good work . hint (bigger would be better)

Classic jibaro style
Best company with classic style machetes used in fields like a work horse all day back in the 70s and 80s. Not sharpened for safety while shipping is a plus. Love the wooden handle. P.S. (loose wooden handle is better than tight plastic handle.) One can always tighten it
