I bought the Helinox Sunset Chair (Black, 3.4 lbs) to join my husband on camping trips, hiking excursions, and kayaking adventures, and it’s become my go-to chair for just about everything! My husband had an ultralight backpacking chair, but I wanted something with a high back to avoid squatting and to rest comfortably after a long day. This chair is perfect! At about 3 lbs, it’s not ideal for long backpacking hikes but is fantastic for day hikes, picnics, or casual outdoor outings. It packs up small, is easy to assemble and break down, and the sturdy material and frame feel built to last. The high back makes a huge difference for back support, and the side pockets are a nice touch for convenience.The quality is impressive, though it’s a bit pricey. If you take care of it, this chair will last for years. My husband loved it so much he claimed it, so I had to buy a second one for myself! Now all our friends are jealous of how comfortable and portable these chairs are. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lightweight, high-quality outdoor chair!

I first sat in a friend's Helinox a few years ago, and I loved it, but could never justify the cost. And then I tried to use a few knock-off brands...and they never quite felt comfortable. So finally, I got my Helinox and I absolutely love being able to easily transport a comfortable chair where ever I'm going. It's easy to set up and break down. It looks cool (people always ask about it) and it's built like it's going to last me years. I'm looking forward to buying one of the small backpacking models!

We have four of these and bring them to all of our lacrosse games. They are easy to set up. Lightweight so not chunky to lug around. They look so complicated at first but when people see how sturdy they are and how easy it is to fold up, people ask me to send them the link so they can get them!

Great chair. Used it on the 4th of July. Note that it may tip over on uneven ground though. I leaned too far to the side and had to catch myself.

It's a Helinox chair! Comfortable & reliable.

This is a well made product. Easy to assemble, easy to take down. Chair is sturdy and more comfortable than any camping chair I have used over the past 40 years. I like that it stands tall enough to get up easy.I will use this for car camping and canoe trips with no or short portages. It’s a bit heavy for long carries. I like to have good gear because the outdoors is an integral part of my life and I buy good gear even if it is priced a bit higher, this is a good product and makes my trips more enjoyable.

Our family bought three of these chairs a few years ago & still use them regularly. Perfect for a concert in the park, car camping, anywhere you want a comfortable seat on the go. Putting it together / taking it apart is very easy - practice a few times at home & you will be good to go. Lightweight! Comfortable! Great chair!

Comfortable, lightweight and compact. Great for watching kids sports and camping trips without the bulk/weight to carry. Bought a second one to bring along as well.
