The PlexiDor Small Door Units open from left to right with precision smoothness. Even the smallest puppy or kitten can easily push open the door. The single plexiglass panel does not require a replacement flap. All four sides of the panel are equipped with the same high density, industrial nylon pile weather seal as the larger units and provide the same level of energy efficiency.  The spring loaded 4-way lock can be set to IN ONLY, OUT ONLY, IN AND OUT or LOCKED. The small units do not come with a steel security plate. The PlexiDor Small Units are designed for cats weighing up to 24 pounds and dogs weighing up to 9 pounds. This is best for breeds such as Cats, Chihuahuas, Papillions, Yorkshire Terriers, Maltese, Pomeranians, Japanese Chins and a variety of other small dog and cat breeds.
