Great set for kids!
Great little set of pretend play costume parts. Everything feels durable enough for your average kid. The detective "scope" attatchments go on easily and fold up and fit in the pouch along with the cards and batarang. The batterang is rubbery, so safe to lightly toss around (could still do damage if thrown hard enough though, of course)The mask fits my adult man head, but the elastic strap can be adjusted for any head size.I wear a size 32 jeans and the belt fits me, any wider and you're out of luck.

Interesting, but I'm worried your kids won't get much replay out of this
Mask can strap right on. I like the added detail of showing the seams in Batman's mask. Be forewarned that the mask may be a little uncomfortable for kids if the top of the nose fit pushes up against the bridge of their noses. The two lenses easily attach to the mask. The whole gimmick of using the red lens to see the hidden images on cards is fun, but I'm not sure how often kids will want to do this. There are only a few cards to look at (plus you can see all the characters somewhat well without the lens.) The basic lens come with a light, but it isn't very strong. The magnifying lens has two attachments. The wider one works really well. The other one makes everything blurry and small. I don't see the purpose.Comes with a container for carrying the cards, etc. Easily attaches to a nifty belt kids can wear and pretend they have a utility belt. The instruction manual says you can fit a Batman figure in it, but it doesn't specify what model/type of Batman figure from Spinmaster is applicable.Has a plastic batarang. Kids will be psyched, but it's semi-hard and might hurt if they hit each other with it.So yeah, there are a lot of fun concepts here, and I'm digging the design. The team behind this was definitely trying. However, the lens don't provide much incentive to keep using them. Kids may be more interested in wearing the mask and using that batarang, though.

10 year old loves this kit, doesn't care for the new Batman though.
The new Batman doesn't catch my sons attention and the trailers don't hold his interest. That being said, I got this thinking that it looked really cool but that maybe he was too old for it now that he's just turned 10. Well, I was wrong. He loves this set. He especially loves the little red attachment and wants to look at EVERYTHING through it. He loves the new batarang and I see it zip past me often before he goes barreling by. This kit has brought out his more child-like imagination that I was sad to see less of this school year. He has been happily playing with this set even if he doesn't care for the new Batman, or the other recent version for that matter. Lego batman is honestly his Batman preference because it's the only one that isn't boring and has personality. He has been wondering though if the new Batman has some cool tech like in this spy kit. So, great job whoever came up with the idea for this kit and made it happen. It is well made and seems very durable and high quality. It fits adults and children, although not a very small child.

This has no point; it's not a game
This set is interesting, but rather pointless. It's called a detective kit, and comes with some pretty cool gadgets. The red-lens and the magnifier attachments are very neat, but the toy could be improved if you could install one of the attachments on each side of the mask. As it is, only one can be used at a time. Moreover though, the concept of this set is half-baked. It comes with just 4 cards (see photo), that you're apparently supposed to view through the red lens. But as you can see, the pictures don't need a red lens - they're obvious. But then what are you supposed to do? That's anyone's guess. The lengthy instructions that come with this only specify how to put it together. There's no game or object to this. My 5 and 6 year old kids were very excited to try out the mask with the lens attachments, but both lost interest within 10 minutes.

Great Fit for kids and fun belt!
My seven year old daughter claimed this as soon as it arrived and has been wearing the belt pack (detective case on the utility belt) and throwing the rubber Batarang around onto things. She was very interested the fact that you can change the Red lens with an LED light to the Magnifying Lens. Although she much prefers the regular red lens with the light!Price - FairQuality - well made and rubber on nose so that it is more comfortable. Easy to adjust the strap and eye holes are just the right size!
