Not for Cerebral Palsy individuals.
Ok, Review time for the Lego POTC Silent Mary Set. This set is massive! It is way bigger than expected. I didn't go really far into the building process, due to some fine motor skill issues with the hands. I suffer from mild cerebral palsy, and things like putting stickers on perfectly, or putting a piece on directly straight, is a really hard challenge for me. I did a review for a tie fighter set that I got as well, but that was received damaged and may have to send back. All in all, if you are a fan of the series, a fan of lego, a fan of huge, heavy sets, and really detailed work, then I urge you to get this. It is really remarkable the design how they are able to pull this off and I can't say enough, how beautiful videos and pictures I have seen of this, but due to again my disability, I was unable to complete it. Definitely recommend for all ages, even adults looking for a challenge

One of the best Lego kits that Ive put together
.IT was challenging. I enjoyed every minute putting this kit together. It would be a great project for a kid and a parent to do together. I do display this one and everyone that looks at it is totally amazed that its lego. Would recommend this build to ANYONE

If you get it on sale like me you are even luckier
This set was the first set that was over 2000 pieces that I have ever built. Let me just say this: the box does not do the set justice. This set is HUGE! It is 2 ft long and 1 and 1/2 feet tall. You will get the very large box, then you will finish it, and you will be in awe to how big it really is. For 200 dollars this is a big steal. If you get it on sale like me you are even luckier. In this set, you get 8 mini figures, (all of whom are very well detailed), two unique and reasonably sized ghost sharks, and one massive ghost ship. There are only two main functions, the collapsing mast, and the opening rib cage. One important thing. I would not recommend this set to anyone younger than 14. The building process is very tedious. I recommend this to older POTC fans and lego fans alike. It is an excellent display model and will take up some space. It has 2300 pieces(if you include the extra pieces it is) and about 16 bags to hold them all. These are small pieces, so make sure to open the bags currently so that you do not lose any. This is currently my favorite lego set. Praise to the designer!

Amazing!
Amazing gift for my daughter. She is an avid LEGO builder and spent a ton of time on this. Quality materials only LEGO can provide and tons of fun for her. Finished project is displayed on her bookshelf. Love!

Detail
It was a great build with glorious detail. The sharks and rowing boat see to that, and all the Cannons of course!Fantastic.

Too expensive
Too expensive for a toy but a great kit that has a lot of detail. Just too overpriced.

Lego (vs Mega) is the best for older dad/mom type builders!
I really like Mega Blok sets for just the sheer value, but as a dad, its hard to sit down with a large MB set since you basically have every piece in front of you (no numbered bags). However, with Lego, I can sit down when the house is quiet and do a bag or 2, then put it away for a while until the next opportunity. This is super important for us older, busy, lego builders. This set was mostly Technic in it core, which was fun, and Lego in the shell. I would probably rather have built the ultimate Batmobile or some spaceship, HOWEVER, this was very worth the $200! I am astounded by the sheer size of it!
