Wonderfully thick and robust - these are FAR better than the store brand bags that I've been buying
I use fold-top sandwich bags mostly for picking up after my pooch on a walk. For years, I've been buying either Safeway or Target brand bags. A long time ago, the Safeway bags were really good (that I recall), but both brands seem to keep getting thinner and thinner. After two bags within a week "failed," that was all it took for me to start searching...that's not my favorite experience when blocks away from home.These bags are fantastic! They are much thicker than the store brands have become, and at about $2/box (at least when I ordered and as I write this), they are a darn good deal. It's hard to describe the huge leap in quality of these bags above the ones that I've been buying, but they are really in a whole different league.I really can't recommend these enough. I hope that they stay available for a long time to come.

Glad Fold Tops are THE BEST fold top of any brand!
I love these sandwich bags. They are far superior than any other fold-top bag I've tried. On other brands, the flap is too small and the fold is not wide enough to accommodate larger sandwiches. These bags have plenty of room to put in sandwiches made with wider bread slices. In addition, if you want to use this bag for a half sandwich, you can basically "wrap" the bag around the half sandwich so that it won't fall apart. The flap on other brands is too short and the fold too narrow to keep the bag closed properly.My only beef about this bag is that for the last several years, local stores no longer carry them. That's when I began buying them online, and Amazon is a great place to get them by the case and at a reasonable cost. I had heard that the bags had been discontinued, but as of this review, Glad still has them shown as one of their products on their website, so that was just a rumor. I dread the day Glad ever discontinues these. I highly recommend this brand and style of sandwich bags. No other fold top can compare.
