Dead Ringers used forensic sculpting techniques (facial reconstruction) to recreate the skull of The Doors legendary frontman and immortalized the design into a unique work of fine art skull jewelry. We were inspired by his Scottish, Irish and English heritage that resulted in a thin nasal aperture, deep-set eyes and a prominent brow line. Owing to his strong jawline and distinctive chin, this is the only skull in the Dead Ringers collection with the lower mandible present. Dead Ringers is proud to have made rings for Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Steve Tyler (Aerosmith), Johnny Depp, Billy Idol and Alice Cooper.
