Cremo super slick for a great shave
I've been mug n brush shaving for 20+ years and have tried multiple products. Many are very good and some not so much. One of the better ones is Cremo in a tube used with my brush even though it's not meant for that (works just fine btw). I decided to give this a try and much like the tube product, this provides a nice slick lather that shaves beautifully. Since this one is designed for the brush it does get thicker and not quite as runny. My first shave was with a blade that had been used a few times so not as sharp yet no issues at all. No nicks, cuts or pulling. The lather slides the blade like butter.I'm not a terribly huge fan of the Sandalwood aroma and in the jar this is kind of strong however once lathered not as pungent and after the shave very light. So when I compare cost vs. shave quality vs. smell the odor becomes a distant 3rd place inconvenience. It they offered another fragrance I'd get it but so far this is all I've seen. If anyone is familiar with the old-formula (pre-Maca Root version) Body Shop shave cream, that's what I would compare this to. With the right amount of water it's just a super slick shave. I will definitely keep this one in my rotation of products.

Comparing to Taylor of Old Bond Street
I've been using Taylor of Old Bond Street (Sandalwood) for years but was running low and because Cremo had good ratings I thought I'd give this one a try. Taylor is a bit thicker, comes in a similar tub, and somewhat easier to dip my wet brush into. It takes a bit more effort to get enough Cremo onto my brush to get a lather. I keep a short neat beard so I'm only shaving my neck. The lather is good but not as thick as Taylor. Thick lathers can be deceiving as canned foam provides a thicker lather but is horrible at moisturizing the facial hair. Both Cremo and Taylor are pretty good at keeping the beard moisturized - far superior over canned shave creams. The proof is in the shaving and I found both Cremo and Taylor of Old Bond Street to be almost equal. It's really hard to distinguish any noticable differences in the shave. I use a 1956 Gillette safety razor. I get no knicks from either brand of creams. The sandalwood smell is better from Taylor but that is a personal preference. One tub of Taylor of Old Bond Street lasts a long time for my needs. I suspect the same for Cremo. The difference in cost is about $4 to $5 more for a tub of Taylor of Old Bond Street.Overall I would say there is not much difference in quality of shave between Cremo and Taylor of Old Bond Street. I would rate Cremo 4.5 stars but Amazon doesn't allow half-stars. I thought Taylor is a half-star better because of personal preferences - thicker lather and easier to apply. But either way I believe you'll get a good clean shave from Cremo. The differences are personal and what you are used to using. There is not much sandalwood smell to Cremo but who cares, really? After shaving and wiping away excess Taylor of Old Bond Street there wasn't much sandalwood smell remaining either. Cremo is a bit less expensive on Amazon. You can find Cremo in some grocery stores but for more than what Amazon charges.

Cremo serves their customers!
I opened the box and there it was, my sandalwood lathering shave cream. I picked it up and the cap was a little loose. Whatever, no big deal. They put seals on these things.I open up the lid and the seal comes off it. The contents shifted in such a way that the cream created a vacuum so that, when I pulled the cap off (coming with it the seal), a large amount of cream almost roared over the lip of the container.Other than that, I'm satisfied with the cream. it delivers the same Cremo smoothness that I've grown accustomed to over the last 4 years.EDIT: Got my second order of this and the seal under the lid was, once again, not attached. That's not a sign of a quality product when something I put on my face may be tampered with.EDIT 2: Okay, some may say, why would someone buy a product again after complaining twice about it? I will start off with this: Cremo is a company that has won my trust before. I started using their shaving cream back in 2015 and fell in love with the smooth shave and long-lasting products they provide. They are also a company that listens to their customers and they put a non-tamper tab on the container. Additionally, the seal was securely placed under the lid. They strive for quality and this is why I stick by them. They provide quality products and care about their customers!

It's okay but not great and not for me
I think the best thing I can say about this product is, "eh." It's definitely slick, I'll give it that. I don't care for how runny it is in the container, it's not pleasant if you want to use your finger to scoop some out and put it in your bowl. But if you use your brush to take it from the container, it does stick to the brush very well that way. I'm not a big fan of the scent, it's too overpowering out of the container. It doesn't leave your skin smelling too strong, but during shaving it hits the nose so strong that it's a little unpleasant. It also doesn't seem to lather well compared to other lathering creams like TOBS. At first I thought it was me, maybe I was using too much or not enough, maybe my brush had too much water or not enough, maybe I just wasn't lathering it long enough and needed to be more patient...but no matter what I've tried I haven't succeeded in getting it into a rich, full-bodied lather. It feels more like a cream that I'm brushing on to my face than a lather. And while it's slick so it gives a decent shave, it's just not the right "feel" that I'm looking for. It's much cheaper than other brands, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Overpriced
This Cremo Sandalwood shave cream has a price tag of a bit more than 30$ for a 4.5oz jar. The Proraso Red shave cream (also Sandalwood) comes in a 5.2oz tube and has a price tag of just 9$ (at the time of writing this review). What makes the matter worse (for Cremo): The Proraso Red shave cream - at least in my opinion - performs many times better than this Cremo shave cream. A more realistic price for this Cremo shave cream would be somewhere between 4$ and 6$, then it could at least compete in terms of pricing with alternative products and such a cheaper price could also excuse the weaker performance to some extend.

Excelente
Excelente producto, hace una espuma rica y espesa que no impide una rasurada al ras, no tapa el rastrillo y realmente ayuda a evitar la irritación de la piel.Mur recomendable.
