Quality kit
This is a beautiful set. The price seems comparable. Works well and easy to install .

Handle does not sit vertically not flush with backplate. Product is flimsy
We had a professional plumber install this item while we were working. Once finished, he walked us through what he did. First he explained why the handle would not sit in a perfect vertical position. There is a ring which sits under the handle which allows water temperature control. If positioned in the vertical position, our water did not get hot enough. In order to ensure a hot temperature, the ring had to be positioned in such a way the the handle was now sitting at an angle when in the off position. In addition, the handle itself does NOT sit flush against the back plate. This is an eyesore. Had I known, that, I would have sent it back, but since it is already installed, we are stuck with it. Lastly, the product material is light and flimsy. If it were not already installed, I'd send it back.

This was refurbished and minor cosmetic cost was well worth the significant discount
Pfister hardware is excellent. This was sold used like new, but it was never actually installed, because everything was fresh as a daisy in the original box. It was probably sold in this manner because the valve handle was damaged because the box didn't protect it adequately during initial shipping. So it was $50 off the brand new $150 price! Amazon refurbished offers some great deals for quality products if you don't mind cosmetic blemishes.

Really Nice
I priced these at Lowe’s, Home Depot and Menards. The prices were ridiculous, and there was nothing even remotely close to the quality of the look unless you were willing to pay $250. I found this set and purchased with no hesitation. The shine is bling, and it’s super easy to clean. It lends a nice polished look to your shower without the cost. Ive had this for awhile and I have no regrets. I purchased another set for an additional property.

Buyer Beware. Handle looks terrible if shower valve is set shallow.
The finish and quality of the components are very nice, but Pfister has one MAJOR flaw with their design. They state a certain range for the valve installation depth and the only way to get the shower handle to actually look "flush" like in all of their online product photos, you have to set the valve back as far as possible, otherwise you have this long can between the escutcheon.

Pfister Shower Fixture Set Replacement
This was only one of two Brushed Nickel Sets recommended by Pfister that could be retrofitted to our existing 1987 Avanti Push-Pull/ Turn Valve.We love everything about it!
