It Works, Within Reason
Bought the 50x70 throw on a whim when it was on sale, just in time for a major heatwave (95+ degrees and humid), and yes, it works. There is a noticable difference in body heat retained under this throw vs. a 100% cotton percale sheet, my former choice for hot, humid summer nights. It seems to be more effective with a fan blowing across the bed than just in air conditioning, probably because of the way the body heat/sweat moisure is wicked away and dissipated through the fabric. I prefer to sleep without the A/C running so I'm fine with that. It has more weight to it than just a sheet, which I also find to be more comfortable, as I've always liked some weight on me when I sleep. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't say how it will hold up (Just follow the washing instructions and do NOT use hot water or heat from a dryer, and keep it away from the sunlight, even coming through a window! Heat will warp the fibers of the fabric and it will lose the cooling effect!) but it arrived well-packaged in a box, and I saw no loose threads or pulls, so 5 stars for quality thus far. It's a throw, it's not going to make you feel like you're in a refrigerator when you're under it, but if you have reasonable expectations for a cooling throw, this will meet them.

Truly cooling.
The blanket is sort of thin, but weighty enough. It does actually cool you and that's the important part. My three year old grandson likes to bring his blanket and pillow when he comes. He has to have his blanket because it's cooler than some others, and it has gotten rather ratty to say the least, but he won't settle for anything else (our Linus, lol.). I kept him today. Here he came with his blanket and pillow. I got the cooling blanket I just purchased for him to try out. We got a chuckle out of him because when it was time to go home, he scooped that blanket up with his pillow and started walking toward the door with the intention of taking it home. (And, of course, he did). I actually bought a different type of blanket for hot sleepers to see which one he liked best. He didn't like the other one at all. So, I will most likely be purchasing another of the cooling blanket that was a hit for when a granddaughter who is also a hot sleeper stays over. I can guarantee you which blanket my grandson is sleeping under tonight. Maybe mommy can slip and discard the ratty one now! We'll see.

It's magical
I am so impressed by this blanket. It really works. I only ordered the throw because I was skeptical, but plan to go ahead and order a King size one now too. I'm just shocked that I can put a blanket on and feel cooler than I did without it. I also love how soft and silky the material is.

Not a magic blanket
It does cool, feels great, BUT you have to keep it moving or air it out. It warms up to match your body heat in about a minute.I bought the throw and use like a scarf over my shoulders and cool behind my neck.Every 30 seconds or so I pull it one way or the other so it constantly cools my neck. Works great like this. Was hoping I could lay on it but I'd have to roll back and forth every minute or so to keep it working. I don't see how this helps people actually sleep.Tried it over my head but heads are hotter and it heats up very fast used this way, just trapping the heat.Much much easier to stay cool with a fan.

Believe me it’s true and I’m one hot mama
It is sensational and it is a cooling blanket. It’s cool to the touch and if you have a fan on you and it touches it it’s like supercharged cool it’s fantastic if you put it on and you feel like wanting a little luxurious lightweight blanket as well in the summertime you’re still cool but have that little bit of weight from the blanket Yes, definitely get one for yourself and

Cooling Blanket- I am
I love it! I keep a fan on me most the time. A fan plus this blanket and I get cold!! Wonderful for hot flashes. I am cold was not really every in my vocabulary especially during the summer months. I have been having to cover up some with a sheet on top of it! It definitely works.

Not worth it
Not super thrilled with this. Was hoping for something a bit softer and cooler. Very thin.

Works great for me!
OMG this is the best! I got the small one to see if it really works since I’m hot natured and menapause so I feel HOT constant and find myself turning the AC down and hear all complain they are cold. First thing I put on my lap while in recliner and it was hot outside so AC was on 75 and wow I was so cool. So bed time I put it on my bed between me and topped w sheet and comforter and left AC on 75 and boom I fell asleep fast and slept all night first time in long time! Will order more bigger sizes so the AC can bet set higher and left so light bill can go down yay!!
