My husband bought this for me as an early mother's day gift. I didnt care what size it was or color I just wanted my own laptop. We found others that were cheaper but were 14inches or smaller. This one is PERFECT! The fact that its touch screen and red is just a bonus as far as I'm concerned. I havent had any issues with it . It's a gorgeous red and it does everything I need it to do. I'm not really a high tech person so I'll just say this- its fast and gets the job done!!

So far so good! I was reading the reviews about it being slow and also noticed one customer said after you uninstall a bunch of the junk you don't need, it runs a lot more smoother. I use it for business and also like the touch screen to teach my twins how to play on it. It has everything you need packed into this system for everyday tasking. I am happy with it so far and the specs are good. I did think it was slow also before I uninstalled McAfee and some other programs. I always stick with the built in Windows security and have no problems with viruses nor do I feel that it's trying to compromise and run too much of my RAM in the background. If you know a little bit about computer and feel comfortable getting rid of the unnecessary programs, this computer will do great!!!

I bought this as a gift for my wife when her aged Sony Vaio bit the dust. It's got a great feature set and hers came preloaded with Windows 10. It's definitely a unique color and my wife loved it. Then she powered it up and we were amazed how slow it booted and how long setup took. Was going to return it and I thought maybe an SSD would help. They have gotten so cheap that it was worth the effort. The SSD transformed the laptop. Clearly, the Hard drive was pitifully slow. Also be aware that this unit only has one memory slot so 8gb is about as much as you get. Even laptop RAM is dirt cheap. The SSD and RAM was less than $80. The unit is a bear to disassemble but there's plenty of YouTube videos to get you through. Now it's perfect for what she does and is a pretty strong performer. Not for gaming, but OK for everyday use. Good value but you must get rid of the stock HDD.

My 7 year old HP Laptop finally died, loved it and found this one to be the most similar so I purchased it at this great price, paid much more previously....so glad I found it on Amazon & saved time and $$$ going out & finding one. I find the performance of my HP touch screen Excellent & looks & feels great.

I bought two of these for my older parents. They are not heavy computer users so I did not think they needed anything particularly powerful, but I insisted on HP because I have had many HP products over the years and at one point was particular to the brand. Not any more. Within a year, both laptops had developed problems that are baffling. My father's laptop has had a CD ROM drive replaced and even after that was done the drive just would not work. Repair tech after repair tech could not solve the problem so for years we just didn't use the drive. Recently, a few years after, I finally discovered that it was a registry issue and that partially solved the problem. Now the drive works when it feels like working. It is painfully slow, taking 5 to 10 minutes to read a CD. My mother's laptop is mysteriously slow and buggy and she just can't be bothered with it. I tried to convert them to Chrome OF Flex but the BIOS won't allow me to do what needs to be done to make that happen. I have converted several laptops to COSF and these are the only ones that I have been unable to. These things are almost like a mass of mismatched parts that were thrown together from afar. That's the end of the road for me and this brand though. My own HP broke recently as well...literally...the lid snapped off of the body...but not before I had to disable the touch-screen because it developed a mind of its own. That's another review, but suffice it to say, HP is junk.

It's very lightweight. I love the color. So far I have limited access since I'm not connected to the internet yet. I just set it up. The company I ordered from is great. They shipped right away and communicate with you immediately if there are any issues. So far the computer works just fine.

Initially concerned because of some bad reviews but recieved my laptop yesterday and haven't had any issues with it. Love how big the screen is and lightweight compared to how heavy my Toshiba is. Also like the slim design and easily fit anywhere. The only downside was found that the webcam quality is not the best. Tried different settings but never real clear, little grainy. Going to use for kids google meetings today with teachers. So see how it looks then. Overall, great buy, would buy again!

This computer has been a piece of junk almost since day one. The USB ports only work when they feel like it. It is as slow as, or maybe even slower than my Windows 7 computer that it replaced. I would have returned it straight away but my son spilled water on my old one and I need a laptop for work and didn't have another 3 days to wait for a new one. It takes forever to open anything I click on. Big programs that took about 20 seconds to open on my old computer take up to a minute to open on this one. And it's not an internet speed problem - all other devices in our house are fast. Just me over here with my red-shelled turtle p.o.s.
