KEENMen's Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandal

I'm getting ready to head to the tropics next month so I spent considerable time researching water shoes. Keen seemed to be make it to the top 3 in most online reviews. But looking for a more cost effective alternative I looked at other options. I also wanting a shoe that gave me adequate arch support. When I looked at the reviews in Amazon Camel Crown and Atika brands both looked promising. My shoe size is 12.5 and Camel Crown was the only one that had that option thus I though it was going to be the front runner. When the Camel Crown came in it was a little large for me and the arch support I was looking for just wasn't there. The Atika came with an adjustable back strap so that I could customize the fit and it was the clear winner over the Camel Crown. When my Keen Newport's came in I was concerned that it didn't have an adjustable back strap. When I put them on the size 12 fit perfectly and I liked not having to worry about adjusting a back strap. They also appeared to be little more durable then the Atika's and the shoe lace was much thicker (Without testing them in the elements durability is only a visual theory) The biggest selling point was the overall feel on my feet. The Arch support was more pronounced on the Keens which is what I prefer. When I looked at the Keen Newport vs the SOLR one of the notes on the review was that the Newport did provide better Arch Support. I never tested the SOLR so can't verify that but the Newport's are great and I couldn't be happier with the overall fit. I have yet to fully test them on my tropical adventure but thus far they feel great and I find myself wearing them all the time.

I like the fit, the grip of the sole and overall look.I got them for kayaking but started wearing them all the time. Keen makes great wide toe-box shoes and these really give the room thats needed but stay snug in all other places. They may be my favorite in couple more days.Build quality seems to be sturdy enough to handle my big feet. They just conform to your feet very well.

These are my 3rd pair of Keen Newport sandals, and I love them. They're comfortable with or without socks. Yes, I wear socks with sandals especially if I'm going to be walking in them a lot. Since they're made to get wet, when they get dirty, as all shoes will, cleaning them is easy as applying a little laundry detergent with a soft brush and rinsing them off.

After years as a Teva customer, I have changed teams. I wear these sandals every day, walking miles every day. The fit, comfort, function and performance is excellent.

Not my first pair of Newport H2. Just a different Color. Feels exactly like the previous pair when it’s new.Firm base, with non marking soles. Great for trekking. Gives the confidence when trekking on wet rocks with minimal elevation. I always get the fear of slipping on wet rocks, I still do, but it hasn’t happened yet.Loved it. It’s my second pair. My previous Newport H3 lasted me more than 2 years. Till recently, the sole started opening up from the upper layer. But was fixed with shoe adhesives.Love the shoe. Very comfortable and fitting. No blisters even with walking over Long distances.

I was a bit leary buying these shoes at first since I never owned a pair. But, holy cow! They were so comfortable, supportive, and held up to the hikes that we took on rugged terrain in Maui (a lot of lava). They totally surpassed my expectations and have convinced me to be a Keen repeat purchaser in the future.

Sandles are ok but no where in the description did it say these were seconds. A little mis leading . So the price should be discounted. Happy for the retailer that they still Made Keystone or better.

Comfortable and provide good support. Good all around summer shoe.

Having had both the standard Newport a d the H2, but these H2s! They are like the Newport sandal but better. Faster drying. Easier to clean. Less prone to smell.

These babies are amazing!!!! Super comfy and durable!!!! Easy to wash and just another outstanding product from Keen!!!!1000% will buy these again if my current pair ever finally wares out????

keen sandals, what else can i say, the name says it all, have had 4-5 pairs of the years, best sandals for me imo, good value for the pricepoint, not cheap, but they last and are comfy and love the toecaps, hide my ugly toes, and protect, 2 thumbs up
