My girlfriend suggested I order the water strips because water from a filter or tap doesn't matter to me. The order process was easy, and was delivered as promised.Testing the water was extremely simple. It takes 30 seconds by dipping the strip into a glass of water then comparing it to the bottle and chart that's emailed to you.My results might have changed my mind after seeing I have chlorine levels for that of a spa and pool as well as nitrates in my tap water. Not very alkaline, but I'm not the guy for which that matters.Overall, the results were very interesting.I also tested the filtered fridge water. No chlorine, but nitrates still detected on a lower level.Highly recommend this product to see what's lurking in the water you're drinking and cooking with.

A great relief to know that the water is safe to drink. After seeing the NOVA program "Poisoned Water" in Flint, Michigan and finding out this is not the first time such things have happened, I actually went straight on Amazon and read the reviews for most of the products that seemed the best. I settled on this, as it seemed to cover everything that was most likely to be wrong with the drinking water, and it was the cheapest that had good reviews.I am very pleased I went with this little kit. Sadly we don't seem to get the emails that once come with the kit, but that seems to be down to Amazon making it difficult for buyer and seller to contact each other.

Wanted to purchased a product to test my tap water and filtered water to see what difference there would me. The product works well and has simple instructions to test your water and has a handy reference printed on the bottle, and an insert, to compare the results. I liked the product and they work as described in testing 9 different things.

Oh my god. Can I just tell you how relieved I am because of these strips?? Well...let me just start by telling you how freaked-out I was everytime I would pour myself a cup of tap water, after running out of my Fiji minis. I'd literally cringe when I took a sip. And don't get me started on how I felt brushing my teeth. Ew. I was basically terrified of the tap. That is, until I tried these amazing strips!! They helped me understand exactly what was goin' on inside those pipes. I can finally look at a glass of tap water and brush my teeth with confidence. These lil' guys are the best thing ever!! And the customer service was tres' magnifique!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Good product to check water quality. Worked very well for the most part. Only problem reading the test strip was on the small pad/dot forchecking water softness. Color that came up didn't quite correspond to the colors on the chart, but close enough so I could tell we do havesoft water from our softener (Kitchen was tested "hard" as it is supposed to-most softeners are connected to leave hard water in the kitchentap for drinking-the minerals are supposed to be healthier for you than the slight salt content in the softened water. I think I got that correct!

I followed the instructions for testing which are quite simple. But the results differ for the very same sample even when tested together or tested few minutes apart. I tested one strip in a sample of treated pond water which gave me a result of neutral ph. When I again tested few more strips to confirm results over the next few minutes and the ph varied greatly. The results also varied in a sample of outdoor water I tested, even when we dipped 2 strips together So I have no way of confirming the results because results vary.

Gets the job done and is quick to test and read. The only strips I could find that also test for copper, which is important for me because I have a shrimp aquarium.

Very reasonably priced while providing a wide range of water tests. I had some questions and the company representative got right back to me.
