Best value knife I've found
I have high end Japanese steel knives, but they take maintenance and I find myself not using them every day. I often used cheaper Victorinox steel knives that I didn't have to worry about, but they are only good for maybe 6-8 months and not worth paying to have sharpened really. Then I found these Kyocera ceramic knives. They are as sharp as nearly any steel knife, and they keep that edge for......well I don't know how long, but my first one is going on over a year and seems as sharp as day one. Plus they are super easy to clean, almost like a Teflon pan, and I don't have to worry about getting them perfectly dry before putting them in the block. For a daily utility knife, I think these are hard to beat.

Worth a try! I like it but have to be "respectful" of ceramic material
I thought this purchase was a good venture to see if wanted to invest more in ceramic knife products. I like this knife for slicing strawberries that tend to crush. It's also good for peeling apples. Not as impressive for tomatoes as the knife is more fragile and can't be twisted for coring. At this point, I think I still prefer metal for knife material. The biggest issue is reminding myself that I can't treat a ceramic knife the same as I would a metal one. I'll have to see how the sharpness of the ceramic blade lasts over time. I do hand wash this knife and dry as I do all knives and store in a knife block.Update: 7-25-2018This knife is holding up well! I hand wash and keep it separate in a wood knife block. I guess I've gotten better with the knife as it now works well for slicing/dicing tomatoes. There are no chips, nicks, etc. on the knife edge. I may get a second one ;)

Very impressed with this unique product
This knife is very comfortable in the hand and performs marvelously. For me this knife is far superior to the traditional steel designed paring knife. In fact, I never use my German-made traditional knife which rests next to the Revolution. Also, the ceramic is very easy to clean and stays a bright white. The only unanswered question about the Revolution is how long will it stay at its present level of sharpness, which is extreme. If it stays as sharp as it is now for a year--this is a bargain knife which I will purchase again. If it does not, I will have to rethink its value.

Extremely sharp
Incredible warranty on chipping that naturally occurs over time!

Great
I received this as a gift and I have used it just about daily since. It is lightweight but in a pleasant way and cuts wonderfully. My only complaints are that I am sometimes afraid to use them because they have so many warnings about not cutting hard things (hard cheeses, nuts, etc) and not twisting/bending the blade. These are not things I do usually with any knife, but it still makes me feel paranoid/overly protective. Also they will chip if you accidentally hit the edges against anything like the sink, a dish, etc. I'm sure they would also break if you managed to hit them hard enough.

Disappointing change in design
Our previous Kyocera paring knife (which broke when a family member dropped it) had a sharp tip end, whereas this one has a rounded end. It makes it somewhat less useful, in my opinion, but the blade itself is up to Kyocera standards for ceramic (which is to say: good).
