EMDR 'Breakthrough Trauma Treatment'
Although Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) was introduced in 1989 by Francine Shapiro, it has recently become a preferred methodology for treating Trauma. By the time this book was published in 1995 the method had been taught to over 10,000 Clinicians world wide. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing contains the protocols and procedures for clinicians to gain the basics and prepare for training. The updated version has a few added minor details but basically contains the same principals. It is a comprehensive methodology which is backed by research. This method is more time and cost efficient than traditional psychotherapy and is known to be highly successful for trauma recovery.
