ViewSonic XG271QG 27 Inch 1440p 1ms 240Hz IPS Gaming Monitor with GSYNC, NVIDIA Reflex, DisplayHDR 400, RGB Lighting, and Advanced Ergonomics for Esports

First off I purchased this ViewSonic 1440p- 240HZ - GSYNC - Nano IPS monitor from NewEgg but nonetheless I’ve been totally satisfied with this product. I also have the prior 27” ViewSonic 144hz (165hz OC) model right beside it for a very clean dual monitor set-up.The input lag (lack thereof), response time, 240HZ refresh rate w/ GYSNC combined with fantastic color reproduction make for a phenomenal gaming experience and general purpose / entertainment monitor.Currently I’m not able to fully take advantage of this monitor’s enormous capabilities (2K@240hz) as I’m still rocking a 1080Ti - 8700K - 16GB DDR4@ 3600MHZ -etc but I’m still enjoying it.I can do OverWatch at a lock solid 240HZ @ 1440p “medium” however and it’s really nice. Destiny 2 at nearly max settings I’m generally averaging ~ 120fps but goes down quite a bit during really demanding stuff.Sometime next month I’ll have all may parts ready to build my RTX 4070Ti build - RYZEN 9 7800X3D - 32GB DDR5 6000MHZ CL30 - 2TB WD_Black SN850X NVMe - Etc. with this build this monitor should be absolutely phenomenal and I can’t wait! This set-up should easily DOUBLE my FPS over my aging GTX 1080Ti build.Update: Ended up with the following build:White Lain Li Dynamic EVO w/ Lain Li FansAsus ROG STRIX X670E-F MotherboardCorsair RMx Shift Series RM1000x 80+ Gold PSUGigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 (+133MHz Core / + 200 mem stable via MSI curve editor)Ryzen 9 7900X CPU - 12core / 24 threads (-30) all cores except core 5@ (-15) via curve optimizer / PBO / +100MHz boost clock to 5.8GHz)DeepCool LT720 CPU Cooler, 360mm (Thermal Grizzly Paste)G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series - EXPO "Tweaked" DDR5 64GB (2X32GB) 6000MHZ / 30CLWD_Black SN850X NVMe M.2 2TB X 2 / 4TB Total M.2 NVMe + 1TB SATA Samsung 850 pro + 1TB external via USB-C Samsung 980 6TB Total Storage.* Couldn't be more pleased with this ViewSonic ELITE XG271QG 27 inch 1440p / 240Hz / IPS/ GSYNC monitor.Some suggest that the RTX 4090 is somehow "overkill" for anything below "4K" but I strongly disagree, I believe 1440p/ 240Hz is OPTIMAL for anything from say the RTX 4070 to 4090.Even older titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Control, Halo Infinite are very arguably best experienced at 1440p for a solid 90+FPS experience. As time goes on 1440p will only continue to prove itself the OPTIMAL resolution for high end GPU's.I have a LG 4K OLED / 120Hz/ VRR display and the visual impact of going from 1440p > 4K isn't nearly as profound as going from 1080p > 1440p - Diminished returns has been my experience beyond 1440p when it comes to gaming. Now I just use my LG 4K OLED for watching the occasional movie.Never would I for example choose 4k/ 60fps over 1440p/ 90fps.

Was tired of frame capping every game with a 3080, decided to buy this and I definitely notice a diff from 144hz. Colors are great out of box, less ips glow than my other monitors. Stand is substantial and heavy. Didnt really mess with anything in the OSD because didnt feel the need to change response time etc. Provided dp cable supports 240hz and thankfully is decent length. It has speakers but hope you’re not buying this for them, pretty bad.

The panel itself works great, Viewsonic's engineering team dropped the ball with mainboard circuitry. If you use the OSD menu to turn off the indicator light, which is a huge obtrusive blue light in the lower right corner of the bezel, the PCB also cuts off power to all of the USB ports on the monitor. Seriously? I'll be opening a ticket with Viewsonic about this.Also the bottom USB lights are wish dot com level of quality. The diffusers used for the back LED needs to have been used for the bottom ones. Had to turn RGB off because of the poor implementation.

I Was thinking about getting Alienware AW271D but saw this instead and even though I took a gamble because there aren’t many reviews on this monitor Im glad I bought it. Saved my self $300. I have zero complaints about this product I like the built and love the picture quality and performance at first It took me a while to calibrate the picture settings but boy after I tuned it to my liking I love it. I would recommend this monitor 10/10 You really get your money’s worth with this one. Gotta say tho the front bottom LED lights strips are better left turned off they’re not all that great. Back LED strip are Pretty solid tho.

No dead dots, better color than my ASUS 170hz display, and nearly zero ghosting. I don’t notice it in games even running at the full refresh rate and maximum pixel response overdrive, but you can see a tiny bit on the UFO test that’s specific to ghosting. Also don’t bother using HDR 400 level on any monitor

Buying a monitor is always a gamble and something I find to be stressful. Thankfully the XG271QG arrived with no backlight bleed, no IPS glow and no dead pixels. It really is an excellent monitor. The issue I have with the monitor is the anti-glare coating.The monitor always looks like the pixels are shifting – making text look fuzzy and images look like they are shifting. After doing some research, it turns out it may be an issue with the specific anti-glare coating used on the screen – something that most users will not have a problem with.Sadly, I will be sending the monitor back because no matter what settings are changed, still images and text look like they are moving.

The package travelled well.Monitor is of an exceptional quality. No light bleed, no dead pixels. The only problem I had which seemed to have been fixed after I fiddled with the drivers is the OSD menu... After I installed the drivers from their website, the OSD menu had graphical corruptions that would render the menu impossible to read. After uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them, I have managed to fix it. I should've taken a picture so that I can show what the problem was but alas I haven't. The swivle arm is absolutely amazing. You can set it as you wish and need. Honestly I can't really fault the monitor (apart from the speakers but I wasn't expecting anything from them anyway so not a real problem for me). The only real problem was the OSD but thank goodness it is solved now.Picture quality: greatBrightness peak: enough for a lit room

Toller Bischrim, mit echt toller Farbtreue, würd ich wirklich wieder bestellen, war sehr unsicheram Anfang auch was den switch von 144 auf 240H betroffen hat.Ich finde es aber das man subjektiv echt einen Unterschied merkt.

I got a Samsung G7 32" 1440p 240Hz monitor and i had to retrun it because of the faint scanlines that are apparently on 80% on them type of Samsung monitors, So i went for this and i absolulty love, Solid Monitor! 10/10

The media could not be loaded.  Ich habe fast zwei Wochen darauf gewartet und bin heute froh, dass es angekommen ist, und als ich es angeschlossen habe, habe ich das gesehen. Meine Freude ist vergangen.
