Technics SL-1210MK2 Professional Turntable

Technics are of course the best of the best turntables out and always will be.

I have two of these that were handed down to me by the guy who taught me how to spin and they still work as well as the day he first got them decades ago.This was the first time I saw any of these in person and though I expected a lot for this money, I was still blown away by the build quality. There's nothing compared to this manufactured today. Heavy and built like a tank. Every dial and widget is high quality and seem to be made to last.Thank you technics for creating a quality product that last!!!

So when it came time for me to replace my very old Pioneer turntable in my home system, I got one of these. It's wonderful.

This is the first day after receiving the turntable, so I will update it in the future. The turntable was well packaged and all parts were in the box. A good start! I set it up exactly as the instructions said. Instructions are very clear and the language was not mangled, as I have experienced with some import stuff I have bought before. I am impressed with the fit and finish of the machine. It was as perfect as anything can be. It feels and looks totally professional.

I bought a "stereo" before I bought my first car. I paid more for the combined components than I did for my first car. Vinyl has always been very special in my life.I have done several tests with different phono stages and cartridges. It's proved to be a decent audio turntable. Thanks for Amazon's excellent services. It's a long journey from US to Taiwan,the package arrived perfectly.You can't go wrong with this turntable for any usage.

As a professional since 1985, I have learned one thing: there is a delicate balance in how much you should spend on gear. Especially being a mobile DJ. Things break. I've gone through dozens of microphones, scads of headphones, and thrown away more equipment than I care to even imagine. I just don't put much stock in electronics, and don't see the need to waste $$ on things that are going to take a beating every weekend. Great work.

The sound is really good and the automatic return works like a charm.It was easy to set up except for balancing the tone arm which I found difficult, and it is simple to operate.it's great when you want to crash and not worry about the record hitting the end.Works great sounds great thanks
