Works great

The remote works great. I put batteries in and it worked with my Bluray without any programing. Which was good as it did not come with any instructions. I am now able to scroll through the disc menus.

I bought my Samsung Blu-Ray player some time ago at a Goodwill for a couple bucks. I figured if it didn't work...who cares, right? It did work, but the remote that was included was not the correct remote, so I had to purchase a generic universal remote. That did me fine, but I decided to replace it because one of the battery springs is off or something because it kept making the battery slip, so I was constantly having to reprogram the remote...which I no longer had the manual for to remember how to do it. I am so glad to have purchased this remote. I didn't have to do squat to get it linked to my player. I just added batteries, and it was ready to go. My only disappointment is that it looks to have the capability to also control a TV, but no manual is provided to either explain if that is only for Samsung TVs or any TV. A Google search has not been successful, but I can't really hold that against the product. It does do as advertised, and serve the purpose for which it was purchased.

Installed 2 AAA batteries and powered Blu-Ray Player right up with no difficulties!!!! I love simply and easy being a 71 year old no technical guy!!!!

Works ok to control my Samsung blue ray dvd player but won’t control any of the other devices. Have to use other remotes to control tv and audio system. I wasted several hours trying all the recommended codes. The model number matches the Samsung number but there’s no other identification and the Samsung programming instructions do not work with this device.

I bought this because I thought I had lost my original remote, not having used my CD player (Samsung BD-C6800) for a couple of years. I found my original remote the day after I received this. I found this remote to be not only to be functionally but physically identical to original. The only way I can tell the difference between the replacement and the original OEM is that the original has a Samsung label on it.
