I have 2 x 17yr old cats, and one of my cats had surgery for ear cancer, they removed her ear.I wanted something to hydrate both my cats as they are now geriatric, kidney disease is a problem at this age and I’m very very hesitant to use drug therapy at this age as it has side affects.Both my geriatric cats absolutely devoured this! And for the small amount they have it’ll last for a while! I’ve just ordered more tonight as I’d expect this’ll work better and save on drug therapy that I don’t want at this age!Fantastic product, genius solution, great taste apparently, absolutely and completely brilliant x thank you x Helen

My cat loves it!
This is brilliant, as my cat doesn't drink very much it's ideal to pour over her food, and she thoroughly enjoys it. It's a bit pricy but worth it.

Good for ill cats
Most of the time my fussy cat won't show any interest in this product but if he's feeling ill and lost appetite, then these are a good way to get hin to take some liquids. The cat never drinks water so relies of wetfood... when he's feeling ill he won't eat or drink (daft cat!) - but I find I can stick my finger in this broth and then under his nose and he'll take interest and lick....then can be encouraged to lap some up out of a bowl and finally get some liquid into him....this then seems to perk him up and starts eating a bit of food.. So while day to day he won't touch this...when he's ill it probably saved a trip to the vet.I freeze into small tubs so can keep this on hand otherwise we'd open the container and it'll go off after a few days...so freezing into small portions is wise.

Expensive for what it is.
Brought this to try and get my dog to drink more. At first he didn’t like it, but mixed in with his food works a charm. Disappointed that it only lasts 3-5 days once opened (I did freeze the rest though!) it’s an expensive item and as my little man is too fussed I wouldn’t buy again.

Not recommended
Gave an upset stomach to my dog. Had severe diarrhoea. Tried that lamb broth as well and same result.

Makes dried kibble far more interesting!
Our dog loves this. We freeze it in a ice cube tray. One melted cube on her dried kibble makes it more flavoursome, Im sure of this because she is now eating more of it with no tummy troubles. Would highly recommend.
