Does what I want and The Doors aren't taking requests
Besides all the usual stuff in one of these bracelets I wanted a flashlight and a thermometer. This has 'em both and they work well enough for me. As others have noted the thermometer is in Celsius not Farenhiet. {It is also very small.] I keep my conversion pretty simple--0 C=32F 15 C=60F 30 C=86F. My general comfort zone is about 15-25C, depending on the triangulated distance { and solar position} in relation to me, the beer cooler and the grill. As far as the whistle goes? it goes far enough. The compass is adequate as long as you remove the tools in the bracelets clasp. Spekaing of the tools--I personally don't have much use for them, theyr'e are better than nothing but not by much. But it's what I expected so no muss no fuss. Especially at this price. I would recommend that you practice removing them and putting them back in place. I found it to be a p.i.a. the first couple of tries, but it got easier . Which is why I also recommend anyone not experienced in using a firestarter to maybe get a little practice in. Take it outsde, scrape off the dark coating and commence to sparking! {And don't be ashamed if you have a problem getting your tinder lit up. YouTube will help you, not judge you.] Being up to your bumpers in mud and having to make a dash in the pouring rain to the piney woods for shelter while singing "Light My Fire" won't get it done, The Doors ain't taking requests. Anyway, I like this piece of gear, it has the things I wanted and the price was fair.

I am so dissapointed, amused, but disappointed
I spent a lot of time reading reviews, here on Amazon, to find a cool survival bracelet for a couple of young friends. I must have clicked on the wrong item. I will still be giving them to the boys this afternoon and I hope they have fun with them, but I will never, ever, ever buy them again. And, I will go back to searching for better survival bracelets. Ones that work. So:The package came on schedule, so that is a Yes for this product.Yes! The paracord bracelet is nicely made and is super easy to adjust the size. It also feels very comfortable on your wrist.Yes! The buckle and the whistle work perfectly.Sort of. The compass on one of them works, I'm guessing, because I do not have a decent compass with which to compare it. Or, maybe the second one works, but again neither of them points true-compass-north, and, again, no way to find out. The two compasses work well enough for play only.Sort of. The light sometimes works and sometimes it does not. Not much more to say.No. The cover for the scraper to use with the magnesium rod fell off of one of the bracelets. It is also to be used to pull out the screwdrivers, but it fell off before we could do that. No way to reattach it.BONUS: If you can pull out this wee scraper it is t-shaped and is two wee screwdrivers, one flat-head and the other phillips-head. But, you know, it will probably be lost soon (along with the wee tool thing below), and that will be fine, but it and the tool sure are cute.No. The little tool that you can pull out is as cute as the screwdrivers (above). It has a scraper, great for cleaning your nails. A graduated wrench that fits nothing on this planet. A really small saw that does not even cut paper, so if they try to saw anything else they might be adults before they finish the job. And something called 'bike banners' which I was unable to identify after a couple of browser searches.No. The thermometer is so tiny and the markings are so itsy-bitsy that it cannot be read. I had to get one of my loupes to be able to see what was there. Still not all that clear until I realized that the readings are in Celcius. (Note to self: order loupes and Celcius-to-Fahrenheit charts for the boys.)No idea. There is a sim pin, which kind of looks like the reset pin on my fitness tracker or the loopy handle one that Apple has for their phones.

compass is not usable, thermometer is in celsius
thermometer is in Celsius, not farenheight. I could learn to live with that but its also so small that its very difficult to read.Compass is basically unusable. It has air bubbles in it and the rotating disk with the labels on it never sits flat so if its tilted even the slightest in any direction it throws off the direction. Definitely not what you want to rely upon in the woods.

My Grandson loves it!!!
I bought these for my Grandson because he loves everything 'survival' and the outdoors, fishing, hiking, camping, etc,....I had read some reviews about the compass not working on these bracelets. I purchased a 'two in one pack'...after receiving them, I thought the reviews were probably true because the same thing happened with mine,...until I flicked them with my fingernail and realized they both actually worked just fine!!!...I tested them both, repeatedly, so maybe there was some kind of interference because of the metal objects on the bracelet?... I received them fast and the price was good!👍

Item is as advertised and what I expected for the price.
The bracelet is fairly substantial especially given the low cost. All advertised components exist. I have not tried the fire starting accessory. Tightening the bracelet to the wrist is a bit difficult given the awkward slide/pull mechanism requiring two hands to operate. This is a fun, multi-use tool that makes a good gift for a young person. I would not say that it is professional grade or would suffice for serious backcountry operations but it could have some utility benefit in an unforeseen emergency situation.

poor design and dead batteries. useless.
Has no good functions. Battery on 2 of them dead in 30secs. Just a blinking light if it worked. Not an sos pattern. Temperature gauge tiny to even see. Only thing that worked was the compass and paracord.

Nice value
I bought these for my outdoor adventures, from kayaking and paddle boarding to cycling. I chose these because they were affordable, the right size (which was surprisingly hard to find, since most of the ones I was looking at were going to be much too large for me!), and the right features. The buckle can be a little bit pinchy when you're putting it on, and while I hope to never NEED to use any of the emergency features, I'm super glad that I have this on me. Just in case.
