Much better sensor than most. Easier to install than others.
I was concerned about the possibility of gas that would be below the standard ceiling installed alarms I have. This one is very sensitive and so easy. I just put the batteries in and sat it on top of a bureau.

Worth the extra
A bit pricey vs. the regular models but low level CO can be dangerous over an extended exposure so in my opinion its worth a few extra dollars

Reads at low levels
I love that this monitor can read low levels of CO. We have a gas stove and when I turn it on the monitor picks up on that and reads around 15. When I turn the stove off it goes back to 0. Gives me great peace of mind.I have another CO monitor that won’t display anything until 70 supposedly. I much prefer this one where I can see any level over 10.

It’s not what I’d expected
This product did not seem to be the ultra sensitive carbon monoxide tester I was expecting. The info on amazon and the box say that it picks up low carbon monoxide levels, but the product looks just like the basic 20.00 model, I don’t see any differences. For the high price I’m just not sure I trust it’s not just a standard level detector. But, I don’t know how I would know for sure. I’ll be returning. Thanks

Very quick responding ultra-low CO detector
Very quick response to CO. I bought it as a backup to my normal CO detector in my garage. Unlike the regular CO detector, this one registers CO almost immediately. I use propane to heat my detached garage, and I wanted to make sure that there were no issues. Ultra low detectors are a must in my opinion.

More than three years old and missing its batteries
The product is already 3 1/2 years old and is only good for ten years from its date of manufacture.All of the batteries it was supposed to come with were also missing.I called Kidde and they told me that they do not approve of products that old being sold to consumers and advised me to request a refund from Amazon and that if I did not get it that they would call Amazon and threaten to revoke them as an authorized seller of their products.I got my refund.

I'm happy to see some of these available
I have utilized sensitive sensors before and they are a life saver. The normal detectors just don't detect low enough to protect your family and when my original manufacturer went out of business, I'm happy to see some of these available. So far so good!
