Ordered 100, received 50
Ordered 100 labels, received 50. No option to return the product since I needed the labels right away. Will consider other retail sources in the future.

perfect : long lasting, practical and professional...
easy to use, reasonably priced and long lasting. i have been using these labels for over 10 years and keep reordering every couple of years a couple. more boxes. i find them better than most labels and i have researched, used and reviewed many. I am avid gardener and plant collector and like to know the names of my rosebushes collections, or Japanese Maples or various plants i buy over the years. i find that i either attach them to a stem when a tree is youn=g or branches subsequently as the plant matures over the years. for perennials such as Dahlias or peon ies, i use them with a bamboo stake put in the ground next to the plant... just writing with a pencil or even an old ballpoint with or without ink is immaterial as you pressure write. i use both sides to write information such as latin name, and reverse for nursery and year purchased, for example. Years later when i come across a label that is too low or the stem has grown more, i just unfurl the wire and refasten around a smaller branch. i have labels that are easily 5+years old and still perfectly readable... the plus is having labels at eye level on tall shrubs and trees, roses that are easily identifiable etc... and when you weed, a rake mulches you do not erroneously pull up the stake into the ground labels as these are fastened around the main part of a stem or large branch...

Way better than competitor .
After Emboss-o-tag started selling their new tags which were smaller, thinner and more expensive I searched for a new seller for quality tags. I believe I found it. These tags are thicker, longer, more heavy duty, easier to imprint, and come with thicker wire. After these recent hurricanes in the south I have found broken Emboss-o-tags throughout my food forest. The whole point of tagging your trees is so you can tell them apart. I love these tags.

Beautiful, sturdy labels.
These are wonderful labels. For the past 31 years, I've been the volunteer caretaker of a 7 acre cemetery. I've planted a wide variety of trees there (over 200) and we are now a nationally recognized arboretum. As a certified arboretum, our tree species must be labeled. Initially, I used plastic labels, but the Sharpie writing faded within months and the plastic became tattered. I switched to these aluminum labels and they are both beautiful and sturdy. I highly recommend these labels for plants or trees.

You're paying the price for name brand
These are the top-notch name brand plant tags! They're quite nice to work with, and have excellent quality control, but you're definitely paying the price for the "name brand" of it all. I personally have switched to the generic versions of these which run for about half the price. These ones, though, definitely stand up to the elements. I have bushes and potted fruit trees I labeled three years ago and the tags are still quite easy to find and legible.
