This is just another captivating story in the series. Continuation of the main story but finally get Daniel’s happily ever after. Love these two. Warning: you will be heartbroken in this one. So great to visit the Maxwells again.

I am not usually a historical romance person. But--having gone to school with the author WAY back in the day, she's converted me. Loved it!! With every installment in the series, more about the characters is revealed, to the point that you feel a part of what's going on around you. It's easy to get lost in the storyline from 100 years ago.

This is a great series! I just can't stop reading these! They're exciting, heartwarming, suspenseful.. And a host of other superlatives I can't think of right now..I'd keep writing, but "Opal" just hit my kindle and I've gotta read!

Another incredible tale in this series finds Maggie saving herself after a year in captivity. Little did she realize that this was not the end of her trials or the degree of involvement with the Maxwells. This is a series that draws and captures the reader.

Absolutely beautiful story! A plot that has more twists and turns than a tornado. The characters are perfect and grow through each story. ENJOY!

I have read all 4 books in the series. I love them all but I think this one is my favorite. I love the characters. My favorite thing about her writing is the love story and action mixed together. It's definitely not just another sappy love story!

This is the fourth book in this series and another woman named Maggie is rescued and married Will and found clarity and love and happiness
