Makes quick work of tough mats! The spray sound and sensation is not loud or forceful (does not sound like compressed air) and she did allow me to direct spray most of the mats. However, for some that we near her neck/face I sprayed my ActiVet dematting brush instead (also on Amazon) and would brush out the mat starting at the outside of her coat, gradually working my way in and down to the skin... Just nibbling away at it with the brush until the mat was released. This spray made the process SO MUCH QUICKER than without and much more comfortable for her. A must in my kit and nice to have on hand for my Standard Poodles as well! Fantastic product. Highly recommend.

I have a long haired dog who mats easily. This product works well at tangle prevention, conditioning, softness and shine. It dries quickly and smells like a pleasant mint scent. I used to use another expensive brand, but it became unavailable and tried this brand. I’m so glad I did.

This spray worked very well for detangling/de-matting the fur on my cat. The spray is easy to apply and leaves her coat really soft. I only gave it four stars because I think it smells terrible. The smell is kind of a minty smell, something that I really do not like. I do not remember if the minty smell was in the description - I only read the ratings where many people said it smelled great.

The nozzle broke on day one and was unusable. Also read the fine print, it’s not returnable. Rip off .
