The media could not be loaded. I put these on the back of my TV and I LOVE THEM!!! Works perfectly! It was easy to install, easy to integrate into my Alexa and is sticking very well. I recommend cleaning your surface with alcohol to ensure the area is clean to ensure good adhesion. You can customize your own lighting effects or choose from preset effects or single colors. The options are endless. I will buy these again for other areas in my home.

We use these for over cabinet lighting and they last so long and stay so bright. We love using the Kasa products because they are easy to controlWith Alexa and make the room so much more fun. They are easy to set up and connect via the app.

I purchased these while on sale during Prime Day this year so I could upgrade my streaming room and give chat something fun to mess around with during my streams. Word of caution, while these lights work amazingly well with the app, and integrating them with Alexa was a breeze, using them with Lumia stream will probably leave you disappointed.Lumia doesn't allow you to use any of the dynamic lighting affects that the Kasa app will, so no two different colors on the same strip or flowing between all the colors of the rainbow, and they'll leave the light strip set to whatever color the program last broadcasted to it. It's something you can work around, yes, but the biggest setback by far is that Lumia can't turn the lights on and off. And in contacting their support, they'll tell you that you need to send a message to TP-Link to get Lumia rights to do so.Best thing I can recommend if you're considering integrating these lights to your stream is plan to have them be a background mood light that you don't mind being solid. That's what I've ended up doing with these, and I've done some IFTTT command writing to let me quickly swap between the Kasa presets I create within the app, but I know not everyone will want to get that nitty-gritty. That said though, these lights are bright and can easily shift a room's mood - even when I'm not streaming, they make for great mood lighting while working from home, or when I'm hanging with the girlfriend playing Stardew.I highly recommend the lights themselves, but just be mindful that there will be some work on your end if you'd like to use these with Lumia Stream.

I own 5 sets of these light strips, plus multiple KASA smart plugs and 3 KASA light bulbs. I love the KASA products, the app is wonderful to use, and everything is easy to connect. It integrates with my Alexa device for easy voice control and grouping. These lights are pretty versatile. I have two sets under my bed frame, one behind two different TVs, and another behind my dresser. They provide awesome ambient light. The reason I dock a star is the following:- Lack of Hex color or RGB numbering- Inflexible strip and once it's cut it's doneWithin the app you only get a color wheel, you can't type in the RGB numbers to get a specific color. This makes it difficult to get the PRECISE color for each set of lights throughout the house. Even the white light colors seem different, especially between the light bulbs and the light strips.Secondly, the strip is very tight and strong rubber/plastic. It cannot bend around corners. You can force it, as I have around my TVs but it won't be flush on the surface and eventually the adhesive will fall off, but you can tape it down.Overall, it's a fantastic product and I will be buying more. It will get 5 stars if they add an easy way to make every single KASA product you have the exact same color when you want them to be.

I recently built myself a house and have 7 of these light strips installed in various places, mostly as uplighting. I'm generally really happy with them but had a frustrating time with installation. I'll break this into installation and functionality / app interface.Install: For a normal use case, installation really couldn't be easier. The app walks you through step by step and has never failed me. But I had unusual circumstances, and these Kasa lights weren't well designed for going off-script. I have a 12V transformer in my utility room that feeds power to all my LED strips, allowing me to have them all on one switch, controllable by anyone who doesn't have my phone. I found that if I accidentally reversed the polarity of the wires when wiring power to the controller modules, the modules burned out instantly. This is an absolutely trivial thing to protect against on a circuit board, costing mere pennies in additional diodes/hardware. Thumbs down for cheaping out on this.The LED strips also failed where I needed to solder in an extension between the controller and strip (because the strip was located more than a few feet away from the power supply). This strip now works on solid colors but flickers when switching colors, so I can't run effects on it. Again, this won't affect most users but if your use case requires cutting and extending any part of the wiring, don't expect these to perform properly.App control: incredibly responsive. Most of the time lights turn on/off instantly. I also have a bunch of Kasa bulbs, switches, and smart plugs, and they all work perfectly. Coming from a 1st generation Hue system (absolutely terrible reliability), Kasa leaves little to be desired. Here's what I wish they would change:1. All my lights are scheduled to turn on some number of minutes after sunset, which I love. But the app only allows you to turn them on/off up to 59 minutes before/after sunset/sunrise. Why not add an hours wheel so you can have them turn off, say, 4 hours after sunset?2. The claim of 16 million colors is a joke. Not that these 16-bit RGB LEDs aren't capable of it, but the app interface limits the color options profoundly. With a 2" color wheel on the app and a 3/4"-wide index finger, I'd be surprised if I could select more than 100 different colors. Until Kasa adds a 0-255 RGB slider interface, their "16 million" claim is more than a little disingenuous.

I have purchased a few of these for myself and for my kids. Love the way the room looks and the options these light strips offer. Easy to use on the app.
