Actual size of tiles is only 5-7/8" by 2-15/16"
I had a kitchen project where my stock in 6x3 stainless tiles was 12 tiles short of being able to complete the job; so I ordered these, as they appear to be a perfect match to the tiles I already have. Upon opening the box and taking one of these tiles out to compare, I noticed the size of these tiles do not exactly match up to my other 6x3 tiles. Turns out these tiles are not an honest 6" by 3", which they are advertised to be. These tiles are more like 5-7/8" wide by 2-15/16" tall. This is the biggest reason for me only giving this product a 3-STAR rating - - I could not mix these tiles with other stainless tiles which are an honest 6" by 3" size. There were also a few tiles that had damaged corners, which made them unusable, as these were meant to be an attractive kitchen tile with a perfect finish - - a crinkled corner is certainly not acceptable. I did not factor in the damage in my rating, as I originally only needed 12 good tiles. But I want to caution anyone needing a full box of perfectly unblemished tiles - - you may best plan on over 10% wastage for your project, to allow for some damage too. Due to time commitments on this job, I had to find a solution with this product. Fortunately for me, the kitchen island I was tiling was to get tiles on three sides of the island. My solution was to put 24 of these tiles on one side of the island, by themselves. And I was able to completed the other two sides with the stainless tiles I already had. Would I buy these again? No, I would purchase something else next time.

Excellent Stove BackSplash or SideSplash - Looks Awesome.
I bought this set of five and love it. I have an electric range with one side right next to the wall. When frying and cooking sauces splatter and grease would go on the painted sheet-rock wall. It was difficult to wash completely and would leave stains and look bad. I tried Plexiglas but it would warp from the heat and ultimately it resulted in a large raised bubble in the Plexiglas. It took only four of these aluminum squares to cover the space and accents the stainless steel on my stove. I think it looks awesome. I was able to easily cut an inch or so off with a table saw on the second tile across. It washes off nicely and after 10 months and hundreds of hours of cooking it is still stuck to the wall tightly. It is made out of aluminum so resists the heat from the two electric elements right next to it. Highly Recommend.

Slightly warped
The pieces look nice at first glance. But they are slightly warped into a curve shape. I tried to bend them with hand but that does not work very well. Now after putting them on the wall, you can see they are not flat.

Not the right size
These are not actually 3" x 6". They are 1/16 of an inch short on both sides. In other words, they are 2 and 15/16 of an inch high, and 5 and 15/16 of an inch wide. It's a slight difference, true, but cumulatively it will make a difference for installation. Since the space I wanted to use them for was absolutely perfect for 3" x 6", I returned these.

Backsplash!!
I installed a hand dryer in my powder room and knew that I would need a backsplash but the stainless steel backsplashes you see in public restrooms cost hundreds of dollars so I decided this would be a better way to go for home use. They tiles look stylish and they're pretty easy to cut with a box cutter but you need a carpenters square to get the edge straight. They're super adhesive so you need to be 100% sure about placement before you put even 1/16 of an inch against the wall because they will stick and you won't be able to remove it easily. I drew my grid outline with pencil first so I wouldn't screw up.These tiles are an excellent value and I plan to update my kitchen with them since I'm both too cheap and too poor to pay for new kitchen tiles.
