GLADEAromatherapy Candle, Home Décor Scented Candle Relaxing Jar Candle, Moment of Zen with French Lavender & Australian Sandalwood, 260 g

Bought these candles about 3 months ago as they were an excellent price from Amazon compared to buying instore. I use an awful lot of candles as I like my home to smell nice. Really very disappointed with them. As I hope can be seen from the photo, they burn extremely unevenly and although there is plenty of wax still left in both of them, the wick now goes out seconds after lighting it which only usually happens when a candle has no more wax left to burn. They lasted only about one week of using them each evening for a couple of hours. I am glad I did not pay the instore price which is approximately double what I paid for them from Amazon. The scent from them is OK but definitely doesn't fill the room, which I would really expect when I have two of them burning in tandem.

Am totally surprised by this candle of I’m being truly honest I got this because it was only £6 usually glade candles don’t smell very much at all u normally get a 125g candle for like £8 that’s lasts about eight hrs! So I wasn’t expecting much at all from this, I choose this fragrance because I love lavender and sandlewood and I have to now eat my words coz omg! It smells Devine, on cold sniff and when lit and u cam actually smell it which is a bonus and let’s face it what we want from a scented candle, it’s not strong like other reviews have implied but it’s noticeable and yummy! Definitely ordering this again and the lemongrass and bergamot one is also on my raidar so I will let u know what I think of that when I get it, but have to say yes I can recommend this candle!

The candle is in a nice sturdy jar with a lid. It was much larger than I thought it would be so was even better value for money. It gives off a nice flame which burnt well. The candle also burnt evenly, not like some that burn only in the centre then waste all the remaining wax!The fragrance is subtle and not overwhelming. If you are wanting a very strong fragrance then this isn’t really it, but the smell was pleasant.Definitely value for money in terms of burn time and quality. Fragrance could be stronger though.

This product was part of an anniversary gift for my brother and sister-in-law, it arrived much earlier than expected but unfortunately despite being packed extremely well (brothers words) the glass was cracked at the bottom. I wanted to replace it but given that the only choice for a replacement was for my brother (who lives in Yorkshire and I in Hampshire) to repackage and pay for it to be returned, I then would be refunded for the item (but not the return) and then I could pay for a replacement, I didn't think that was fair to my brother. Hence he kept it and I bought him something. However my brother put the glass on a plate and was still able to use this product and is quite pleased with it; it is just such a shame it is such hassle to get a replacement when the original is faulty, and have to pay to return.

I had high hopes for this from reading the glowing reviews here but was disappointed.On the plus side it was very large and only £6.
