I got these for a concert, but the first time I wore them, I barely had them on for 4-5 hours, and when I got home the sole of the right boot had split. I saw some reviews saying theirs fell apart after several months of wear, so I was a little disappointed that that happened to me, and that it happened so early on. Even though they were falling apart they were still pretty comfortable. My feet didn’t hurt at all after the concert, even though I was standing almost the entire time, and the boots themselves didn’t require any breaking in. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt based on the comfort and the other reviews, so I’m going to just hope I got a defective pair and leave it at that. That being said, in the future I would probably buy these again, if needed, and hope another pair would be more sturdy!UPDATE: The company reached out and offered to replace the damaged pair. I rejected the offer only because I don’t have any use for the shoes in the future, but I thought it was very nice that they tried to make this right, which is also why I am increasing my rating. Would definitely buy from them again if needed!

I bought these to take to burning man. They lasted for the whole week in all that dust just fine. Then they became my everyday shoe wear.The zipper got a little sticky about 5 months in but I just put a little olive oil on it and haven't had a problem since.The sole inside the shoe feels like it's collapsed a little in pockets. Very weird, but they are still comfortable if I wear thicker socks.I've been thinking about putting shoe inserts in, there is plenty of room, I just haven't done that yet.I do love the thick sole. It's great when you're walking through rain/puddles/snow. They have never leaked on me.

My daughter wanted these for Christmas. It’s been 3 months and in that time the insoles needed to be replaced and now the soles themselves are coming off. She only uses them to go to school and not every day. They should not be falling apart already. Very disappointed**** I’m updating this review because we have received great customer service in making this right. They sent us a new pair and my daughter likes them so far. ***

I've received them and tried them on and I can't wait to wear them tomorrow night at work. They look great 👍 Only left four stars because I haven't worn them for any amount of time.

A little on the large side, but I have plantar fasciitis, so putting an insole for heel support is no problem. I get compliments all the time. Love the side zipper, so taking them on and off is easy.

I go to a lot of music festivals but would always find that the walking and dancing gave my feet bad blisters. Then I found these beauties. I’ve worn them every day the last 3 festivals I’ve been to and not only are they cute, but NO blisters or sore feet!!! They also didn’t need to be broken in! I originally bought white and after wearing them every day at a camping festival they were dirty, but I threw them in the washing when I got home and they came out good as new. They’re also easy to clean with a baby wipe in between days to get them looking somewhat clean while you’re there. I came back to buy another pair in black. Don’t hesitate to buy them, they are well worth the money

I love love these boots. At first I thought they would take a minute to break in and I would end up with blisters on the back of my ankles but nope. These are comfortable to walk in and does not look cheap at all. Defiantly get the value for you money on these boots. I love that are breathable when hugging my calf unlike other boots that are super tight and hurt when you bend down or are walking. It did take some time to get use to wearing platform boots but after awhile you don’t even realize your wearing them. They are also not thick sock friendly so I would suggest getting some think ones that end stop above the ankle.

I already have a great functional shoe wardrobe but wanted combat boots more as a fashion choice for example to tone down the femininity of wearing a dress or skirt. So, I'm not THAT committed to the look (especially chunky platforms which are a trend unless your style is very goth leaning) and didn't want to spend $250 on docs or other quality leather. Don't despair when you first put them on. You need to tighten the laces around your ankle. They look great once done up. I dislike the faux zipper on the outside, but the real one is handy for getting them on and off quickly. I wouldn't wear these in below zero temps or expect them to hold up to daily wear. But to pull out occasionally as an accessory I'm sure they'll hold up.

Great quality, will buy again.
