My Secret Weapon for Fast, Flavorful Food - A Multi-Cooker Gem!
Way better than the last one I had, coating came off the non stick pot within a few weeks and the seller only responded to one emailThe Tefal Turbo Cuisine Electric Pressure Cooker has quickly become a valuable addition to my kitchen, significantly cutting down cooking times and expanding my culinary repertoire. It truly shines as a versatile 10-in-1 multi-cooker, making everything from tender stews to perfectly steamed vegetables a breeze. The **speed** is undoubtedly its biggest selling point. Pressure cooking with the Turbo Cuisine genuinely slashes cooking times, which is a lifesaver on busy weeknights. I've been able to create delicious, slow-cooked-tasting meals in a fraction of the time, and that's incredibly liberating. The **4.8L capacity** is generous, easily accommodating family meals or allowing for batch cooking and meal prep. The **10 automatic programs** are incredibly convenient. The "Stew," "Steam," and "Rice Cooker" functions, in particular, produce consistently excellent results with minimal fuss. Just select the program, add your ingredients, and let the cooker do its magic. Food comes out tender, juicy, and full of flavour, thanks to the spherical bowl promoting even heat circulation. While the "manual settings can be finicky," as stated, it's a minor hurdle that's easily overcome with a bit of practice. The single dial control makes navigating the automatic programs straightforward, and for those who enjoy precise control, the manual mode offers the flexibility to fine-tune temperature and time once you've familiarised yourself with it. It's a small learning curve for a lot of payoff.Beyond its core functions, the Turbo Cuisine looks sleek in its black finish and doesn't take up an excessive amount of counter space for such a multi-functional appliance. Cleaning is also surprisingly easy, with the non-stick bowl wiping clean and many accessories being dishwasher safe.Overall, if you're looking to speed up your cooking and embrace the benefits of pressure cooking and a range of other convenient cooking methods, the Tefal Turbo Cuisine is an excellent choice. It’s a powerful, versatile workhorse that, despite a slight initial learning curve for manual adjustments, will quickly become a cherished kitchen companion. Highly recommended for its efficiency and delicious results!---

Life changing cooker
I bought this following a recommendation from someone - I haven't owned a rice cooker before but wanted something I could use for other things, not just rice. This is a huge upgrade from my microwave rice cooker! I cook brown rice on the stove but have now been using this and it cooks it perfectly. Short grain rice for sushi is perfect, and I've also tried Thai sticky rice - another success. The inner pot is huge and I've also been trying one pot dishes, such as rice cooker bibimbap and tofu rice bowls, and the steamer worked well for steamed dumplings, however I'm still trying to work out the timing (steaming with nothing in for 5 minutes to warm it up first seems to do the trick for me). I use this most days and I can't imagine life without it now!

Looks smart, multi functional
I use this mainly to make stew but, to be honest, a slow cooker would do the job. Rice cooks to perfection as do potatoes but you don't save any time. Has lots of functions if you have the time/inclination to try them out

Game changing!
I don’t normally bother with reviews, but I really do think this pressure cooker deserves one!I started using it from day one, sometimes multiple times a day: soup, stews and steamed veg cooked to perfection - you can even adjust the amount of time if you don’t want to stick to the presets. I’ve always wanted a pressure cooker but was too scared to use it as my mum had an accident with it when I was little, so I was reluctant to buy a traditional one for myself. If I was to buy one it’d have to be safe, and this one is. It beeps when the food is done. It’s easy and, most importantly, safe to use - just press that grey steam 💨 button on the lid to release the pressure before you open it. It’s also super practical and easy to keep clean: you simply remove the insert bowl, which is easy to clean and light to handle, you wash the lid and you’re done. It’s perfect. It cuts down the time of cooking and it frees up your time as you can get on with other stuff while it cooks. If you’re a soup/stew/steamed food person, this little gadget will make a huge difference.

so far so good, be aware it is coated with non-stick materials. Max 1litre and 40C for Yogurt.
Be aware that in the instructions it says that when making yogurt to use a maximum of 1 litre, I have no idea why and the max temp is just 40C. I am going to try ignoring the Max 1litre advice. 1 litre of yogurt after straining isn't very much. Furthermore, it is coated with non-stick materials so if you have any concerns about that then don't buy it, but I think they all are. The rice function alone, according to my partner is worth it, you can put the rice and and go then it keeps it hot until you're ready for it, no checking your pan hasn't overflowed. The yogurt function says 1 litre max which isn't very much especially if you want to strain your yogurt like I do and the maximum temperature for yogurt is 40, but when I test it with my infra red thermometer it says 38. Not sure which one is off. I normally do yogurt at 43 in my dehydrator but that is noisy and inefficient since it heats up my kitchen, something I don't want when it's hot.
